As I’m sure many of you are aware, each Christmas I like to do a good deed / make a donation to a cat based charity on behalf of us all.

This year, I will be making up & delivering Christmas boxes for the cats at Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, with love from all of the Aunty Sarah’s Cat Sitting family. Sadly some of the cats there won’t have found their forever home before Christmas, so the least we can do is give them a fun filled day.

I hope you will all agree this is a worthy cause for our 2024 Christmas present. I want to thank you all for making this possible, as without you there would be no ASCS family!

Well that this mornings visits finished & now it’s an admin kinda day - it’s also a Monday switchover as I’ve got all new sits tonight & this mornings cats have their families home 😻

Autumn always helps with the “boring” stuff as I love getting cosy & settling down with my own cats on a cold afternoon.

Bookings are coming in fast & the rest of the year is getting filled. Remember to book in advance for any futures dates - my 2025 calendar is open xx

Just a reminder that I am now closed until 15th July.

I will still have phone access, but I am trying to limit this to make the most of my break (the last one now until Xmas!). So replies to messages may be slower than usual.

Random Cat Fact:

If your pet cat drools when purring and or kneading it is a sign that they are feeling happy and confident. Drooling occurs when your cat is so far into the happy zone that they forget to swallow 😻

From 10 June 2024, cats in England will need to be microchipped and registered on a database by the time they're 20 weeks old. You can be fined up to £500 if your cat is not microchipped when they need to be.

If anyone has any spare food going then this would be a great way to gift it on x

We are currently full to bursting in our cattery and running very low of wet cat food. We are looking for jelly cat food in tins or pouches any brand. If anyone has any their cats don’t like or could donate a box we would be very grateful

A snippet of the last couple of weeks of visits 😻

We’re adding more new faces to the Aunty Sarah’s family & I’m so here for all the cuddles! Another shy baby added, that within a couple of visits was ready for play time & fusses.

I find it really rewarding building up trust with new clients & forming a bond that,hopefully, lasts a lifetime!

Everyone give a warm welcome to the newest members of the Aunty Sarah’s family - Tango & Puzzle.

2 different households but both cats that are usually shy & mistrusting of new people, but after just one booking both came out of their shells & were enjoying cuddles. It really is so rewarding building a bond with cats that need that bit of extra reassurance 🥰

Tango is 9 months old & Puzzle is 13 years old - both of them are beautiful girlies! Xx
