Thank you for your support! Moderation guidelines
The RSPCA is here for animals and we’d love our page to reflect this. There are so many important animal welfare messages to get across and discussions to be had; we’ve got a few guidelines to ensure all this important stuff doesn’t get lost! To help us keep animal welfare at the top of the agenda, please don’t post any:

• violent, obscene, profane, hateful, or racist posts, links or images
• comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation
• solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any financial, commercial or not-for-profit organisations.
• comments that suggest or encourage illegal activity
• multiple successive off-topic or disruptive posts
• repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated
• posts containing specific details about cruelty cases (these should be reported to the cruelty line on 0300 1234 999, rather than posted here)
• posts which we feel may potentially impact upon prosecutions. Where an investigation is considered ‘active’, any comments made about the case may mean someone facing charges might not be in a position to have a fair trial and the trial could collapse. We reserve the right to delete any of these types of comments, or ban any user who infringes these guidelines. In addition to this, individuals who seek to persistently antagonise our supporters, and accounts which are suspected to be false profiles created with the intention of breaching a ban and persistently antagonising RSPCA supporters, will be removed from the page.

Beautiful Betty is a 14.2hh, 16-year-old mare with a gentle nature, despite a challenging start to life which has led to some trust issues with new people.

She has made remarkable progress during her time at RSPCA Gonsal Farm Equine Centre, living happily within the herd and taking the foals under her wing.

Due to past trauma, Betty tends to shut down if she feels forced into anything. She's therefore looking for a home where she can be a non-ridden companion only 🐴

Penne, Macaroni and Rigatoni were abandoned in a children’s playpen by the side of a road in Huddersfield back in May. Thankfully a kind passerby spotted them, and they've since been recovering at RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch.

While Penne and Rigatoni have found their forever homes, little Macaroni is still waiting for her chance of a fresh start.

She may be the smallest of the bunch, but she’s also the boldest, bursting with curiosity and full of heart! 😻

Could you be the one to give Macaroni the loving home she deserves? Visit her profile this National Kitten Day: https://bit.ly/40660MI

Cheddar arrived at RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital back in March after a devastating road accident left him with a fractured jaw and his ear canal torn away from his skull 😿

After undergoing surgery to repair his jaw, Cheddar was placed in a loving foster home where he could rest and recover. Sadly the damage to his ear couldn’t be repaired, which means he may face complications in the future.

For now, this brave boy is living a pain-free life and is ready for a new beginning after everything he's been through. Find out what kind of home he's looking for: https://bit.ly/3Gri1W9
