I provide group walks, with a maximum of 4 to ensure they all get the attention and love they need. I also offer solo walks for the unsure dogs that need more 1-2-1 attention. Our Story

Hello and welcome to The Canine Companion page!

We love dogs, it’s that simple.

Having walked and looked after many dogs in North Bolton for the past 12 years, the demand became that high that in the summer of 2017 Emily joined us at ‘The Canine Companion’.

Emily has 9 year’s experience as a dog walker and home sitter. Her number one priority is the dogs, their fun and enjoyment is her daily goal.

Emily has her own dog ‘Poppy’ a black Labrador who is her pride and joy. Poppy is great with other dogs and Emily specialises in socialisation. If you have a dog and also work commitments, we can completely understand that you can feel uncomfortable about leaving your loved one at home alone for a long period of time.

Here at The Canine Companion you never have to worry about that again! We provide several services for your dog to keep them at their best and to ensure they are always happy.

These services include: Walking, Home sitting (in your own home), Puppy services and Transport services. Now you never have to worry about him or her being alone or not getting enough exercise, as with me they will get a lovely long walk in the countryside, as well as being with others and socialising. It is very healthy and important for a dog to socialise as it keeps them very happy but also it is great as they can make lots of new friends whilst burning off lots of energy! We hold a Pet First Aid certificate and also have transport and are fully insured.

We cater for all breeds and temperaments from solo walks to group walks; however we will never walk more than 4 dogs at once.

We go on long walks in the beautiful countryside and forests. It’s great for the dogs as they can run around and socialise, and they even go for the odd swim through small rivers and lakes. If you would like your "best friend" to come along and enjoy these adventures with us, then please give me a call or leave me a message and I will get back to you.
