This evening I have received the most devastating news that one of my Home Comforts Cat Sitting by Carol cats has passed yesterday. My heart goes out to Noodles family. I am so truly sorry for their loss. I am still in total shock yet. RIP Noodles. Thank you for being a part of my life, albeit for such a short period ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’”. You will be very much missed darling boy!

Have you got space in your home and in your heart for two little piggies? If so, we would love to hear from youโ€ฆ.and these two cheeky boys would too!

Brian and Blessed originally came into us from an inspector after they were not being kept in the correct conditions in their previous home. They are therefore looking for pastures new and a brighter future. Could you be the one to offer them their much needed forever home? We sure hope so!

These boys can be a little timid once you meet them, however since they have been with us here, they have grown in confidence and we have no doubt that once they are able to build bonds in a stable home, that they will progress even further. They really do deserve a happy home where they can get cuddles and leafy veg galore so if you have room in your family tree, then please do get in touch. They could go to live with other piggies and could also live outside or inside. They are also neutered too and able to fit into many different types of homeโ€ฆ.they just need that chance.

Brian Blessed is well known for his booming voice and we are hoping that our booming voice shouting out loud about how sweet these boys are will mean that they find their forever home at some point soon.

Say hello to adorable Cole. Through no fault of his own Cole became a foster cat with Diefers Legacy Animal Rescue. Whilst his foster mummy has been taking a break I was given the absolute pleasure of cat sitting Cole on behalf of Diefers Legacy Animal Services . I've sooo enjoyed Cole's company. He's still timid, but with the right person/s who would be prepared to give Cole the chance he really deserves, and you can give him the patience and commitment to make him feel safe and loved...then Cole needs you!!

I take back my last statement of Jette preferring the boys to be outside so she can have a little play....Bert just proved me wrong ๐Ÿ˜„...he's a good boy๐Ÿ–ค.๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

Just a little update on our Jette ๐Ÿ–ค. Thank you for your kind messages of support, it really does mean a lot. Jette has been on the medication 3 weeks now and she is improving. Her eyes are much clearer, which means her BP is coming down, albeit it slowly, it's going in the right direction. Jette prefers some 'giddy' time when Harry and Bert aren't around. This is as giddy as it gets for Jette now, being an elderly lady lol.๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

Cat Care at Home with Carol

Not all cats like the cattery environment when you go away, I know from experience one of my three cats really stressed out in the cattery. Just over 12 months ago I decided to offer a cat sitting service for people who prefer their cats to stay at home when they go away.

Providing visits at home allows cats to keep their independence, for which they are renowned for. They can carry on with their own regular routine, for which again they are creatures of habit. Not all cats I visit come to greet me immediately but usually after a couple of visits their confidence builds and I get to engage with interaction. Once they find I am no threat to them and I am only there to be another one of their โ€˜minionsโ€™ to wait on them at their discretion they are happy >^..^

I take pride in providing a quality service where everyone involved is happy and content with the care provided. Having been a postwoman in Bolton for 27 years I always prided myself on being polite, helpful, friendly and always put customer satisfaction first. This is a trait I have carried over into my hobby job as a cat sitter.

I am looking forward to spending many years caring for cats of clients, whether regular clients or one offs. Cats are my absolute passion and will use my knowledge and experience to make a stay at home cat a happy and relaxing experience for all.
