This year, we at Lothian Cat Rescue want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their wonderful support. Because of you, we’ve been able to help thousands of cats and kittens find safety, care, and love. 🐱💕

But our work isn’t done yet there are still so many little paws needing our help every single day. Here are just some of the lovely faces currently waiting for their forever homes. 🏡💛

In memory of Lila
My wee girl Lila passed away peacefully in July 2025 at the age of 12. She developed a sudden saddle thrombosis and the vet had to put her to sleep. I adopted Lila (who was then named Lilac) from LCR in January 2016. She was a beautiful bengal with a sweet and loving nature. She also had an adventurous spirit and loved exploring outdoors. We had many happy times together. Following a tendon injury and surgery in 2024 Lila had to remain an indoor cat which became challenging for both of us but also brought us even closer together. I miss her terribly and she will forever be in my heart.

We’ll be at Pets at Home, Fort Kinnaird raising funds so every animal in our rescue can have their own Santa Paws bag this Christmas 🎅🐶🐱

Each bag includes a tasty treat dinner and a toy. From cats and dogs to reptiles and many more every animal deserves a present, whether they’re already in a loving home or waiting in rescue through no fault of their own ❤️

Pop along for tasty human treats, try your luck on our tombola, win a cuddly cow, or simply donate every little helps.
