Anywhere further out will incur a small charge for petrol. I am Police and Disclosure Scotland checked and have full insurance. My group walks consists of no more than five dogs at any one time. This means I can give each of them the time and atten

tion they need. I have lived and worked with dogs, horses and all sorts of animals most of my life. The dog in my life now is called Ludo he is epileptic and blind in one eye so needs a little extra attention. He was the inspiration for starting this business. I understand how difficult it is to leave your pet in someone else's care even for an hour. This is why I offer a FREE consultation in your own home. So you and your dog can get to know me and I you. I can even bring along Ludo for a play date too. Dogs will never be let off the lead without your express permission. I will never accept any aggressive dogs.

Hi just to let you all know that Ludo crossed the rainbow Bridge this afternoon. He had lost the use of his back legs. He was 16 and a rare and gentle Wooflit. I will post photos of happy time soon. Take care guys and hug yer woofs extra tight from me.

Our Story

Hi, my name is Mel and I offer dog walking and pet services in Bonnyrigg, Rosewell, Mayfield, Dalkeith, Eskbank, Lasswade, Newtongrange and Gorebridge. Anywhere further out will incur a small charge for petrol. I am Police and Disclosure Scotland checked and have full insurance. At Mels Mobile Mutts my small pack walks consist of no more than 5 dogs. This is because your dogs well being and happiness is my first priority.

With this in mind, I use a people carrier to pick up and drop off all dogs. The people carrier is less stressful and upsetting for your pet. Doggy seatbelts as well as pet partitions are used in transit.

Initially we will arrange a play date to introduce you and your dog to me and my dog Ludo. If you engage my services I will also introduce your dog to my regular pack. This will reduce stress for your dog and give them a more enjoyable and natural introduction to pack life. These two things are free of charge.

I can also help with training and will follow your instructions to the letter. Please feel free to contact me to discuss you and your pets needs.
