We have this lovely 6yr old gelding staying with us for a working holiday. He has done so well beginning his ridden education and taking it all in his stride.
Again our small jockey has come in handy as this lad is only 11.3hh

Having a small lightweight rider on the yard means we can take small ponies on livery. This mare has just spent some time with us coming back into work after having the winter off. She has now gone home for her owners to enjoy 🏇😀

My week of looking after these big boys is over. Their mum and dad enjoyed some sun on holiday and I had an interesting week with one loosing a shoe and the other with mud fever.
