Summary

We are looking for personal care assistants on behalf of our client who is currently looking for personal care assistant to support her within her home with personal care, wellbeing and support.

17.5 per week client requires 3 calls per day
Morning between 7am and 8am for 1.5 hrs per call
Pm for a 30 minute call and then a further 30 minutes call to help get her into bed and assist with personal care.

Please note Ashley's Home Services is not the employer and you will be directly employed by the client, Ashley's Home Services will be responsible for all HR, payroll and other employment related tasks

Last week some of our new staff members took part in a hoist training session.

During the session the where shown how the hoist works and a type of sling that can be used to lift a person from their chair to bed ect,

Our new team are getting really excited to get started and support our community.

Robyn has been working with us for a few months now and originally was hired as a Bank Support Worker but due to her amazing dedication and commitment she was offered a permanent position.

It’s Men’s Health Week, remember this 🤔

Men are twice as likely as women to have no one they could rely on for emotional support.

Half of men admit they feel uncomfortable talking about emotions compared with two in five women.

It's okay to talk 👏

Getting active also helps your physical & mental health.

Talking is a great resource to get problems off your chest, and the sense of relief of talking to your friends, family, teammates, or even seeking a professional will help lift that struggle .

If you need to talk to a stranger, there are many 24H listening services to let you talk,
Ring Samaritans on 116 123 or if you prefer not to speak and rather text, SHOUT is another good service, all you do is text 'SHOUT' to 85258, both offer 24/7 services so whatever time of day they will be there for you ❤️❤️
