Sometimes when I go away I send a little video to my pet sitter so as they know what my dogs are happy to do and not happy to do whilst they are with them.
This can include their likes and dislikes and what to do with their training etc..
Sometimes it's a lot easier than sending a message or calling them and they can see how my dog reacts to the commands.
Here's a little example of one I made with Lancelot recently π β€οΈ π₯°
Here's a little throwback to Jasmine the Bengal cat playing in her garden on her daily walk
Sometimes you don't need a cat toy just a reed plant will do!! π π
She always keeps me entertained and I love the fact that she's an indoor cat that goes outside for walks!
It's great for all of their senses and helps them to be normal cats.
If your trying a walk with your indoor cat for the first time have lots of tasty treats to hand (chicken or ham works well) to work on their recall.
Believe it or not cats are extremely smart and can be trained with regular repetition.
It'll be very new for them at first and could be a little scary so be patient with them.
A flexible lead works well and a cat harness so as you know you have full control with them.
They could slip out of a collar and a harness so please make sure you keep a close eye on them whilst your out walking together.
Starting in the garden would be best then move outside to a bigger space.
Good Luck Cat Owners!!
Take a look at Jasmine below having a great time outdoors on her walk π π» πΎ
Roxy cuddles π π
Look how comfortable she is sitting on my lap!!
She was an absolute pleasure to look after and she really enjoyed having some company whilst her owners were out for the evening!
What a happy doggy!! π₯° πΆ

Here is the little video of Roxy that I promised you all!! π
She was so sweet on my first visit with her and as I arrived she went off to find and bring me her purple pom pom toy and she ended up keeping hold of it throughout my entire visit with her π
She was a very happy girl and was very settled throughout her entire pet visit and even came to sit on my lap for a cuddle!
Take a look at her below π
Another video will be uploaded soon πΎ
This is Lily on her second walk with me today...
She was excited to see me which was lovely and her tail wagged on the entire walk!
She looked back maybe two or three times today but I didn't feel like I was constantly turning around with her which was amazing progress!
I brought her treats with me like I always do and she was a very good girl and listened throughout our walk together β€οΈ
She also jumped up at me at the end of our walk for a cuddle and a lick and showed no nervous behaviour signs at all!
Well done for being brave Lily!! π
This was Lily on her first walk with me...
She was very nervous and unsure about everything going on around her.. etc other dogs, cars and people including me walking near her.
It was like she was on high alert on the entire walk and she couldn't sit still and kept looking behind me to see what was going on.
She was very unsure throughout the whole walk and kept licking her lips too which is another indicator of a nervous/stressed dog.
Although she looks absolutely gorgeous with this frosty background she was extremely nervous of me touching her too and being at her level it was all very new for her.
Here's a little video of her on our first walk last week...
Keep a look out for another video because I will show you her second walk from today and she is like a different dog with me and is so much more settled!! π π πΎ
If Isaac had it his way he would water the entire garden if left unattended with a garden hosepipe!
It's funny to watch him try though!! π
He's very good at helping me with all of the different pets I visit at work but now he has grown up a bit it's like having a little best friend to keep me company all of the time it's wonderful! π₯°
He has this amazing sense of humour and really does make me laugh even if I have to go into mum mode and take the hose off him every now and again or the next person who gets watered will be me or Charlotte!! π π
It's bitter sweet knowing he has just started primary school and won't be with me as much at work anymore but he's already loving school and so hopefully if he's not too tired he'll join me again at work on the weekends instead! β€οΈ
Here's a little video of him being a lovely little boy helping me at work whilst also messing around with the garden hosepipe like little boys do! π π§
Lancelot and Nora our dogs playing in the children's ball pit! π πΎ
It's safe to say everyone was kept entertained for a long while! π
They both absolutely LOVED IT and the kids thought it was hilarious!
Look how excited Lancelot is! π₯° π β€οΈ
More videos of the lambs from my most recent visit with them π
It was a very cold morning but at least the sun had come out a little! βοΈ πΏ
It was a really cold few days the other week visiting the sheep and lambs but they still wanted to come out in the mornings and say hello! π₯°
Aren't they gorgeous?? β€οΈ
Even if they are tad bit muddy! π
