Our sister store at Iver is now open, business as usual!

We are delighted to inform our customers that we are back open for business, customers are welcome inside our store to meet our animals and browse our stock!

Please park in the car park or green and find entry through the back doors of Maidenhead Aquatics (grey double doors along the path to the right of the entrance)

⚠️IVER JUNGLE TEMP CLOSED⚠️

Due to an incident at the Flowerland Garden Centre, our Iver branch is temporarily unable to accept walk-ins until further notice.
For the time being, the Iver staff are taking orders over the phone and bringing items to the gates. If you are shopping at Iver, please call them to pre-place an order where we can either take payment in cash or via a bank transfer. Collection of said items will happen at every hour between 10am and 5pm (i.e at 2pm). Local delivery is also available at a £5 fuel charge.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience however the Iver Flowerland is closed until further notice.

We are making attempts to open as quickly as possible and in the mean time our other stores are here for your product needs and we may be able to deliver to the local area.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Iver store is currently closed. This being said Bourne End is open as usual and has good stock of everything you may need! Including a fresh delivery of live food! We are only 25 minutes by car from our Iver outlet and happy to assist in any way we can!

After many happy years of serving our customer base at Bourne end it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that later on this month our Bourne End outlet will be closing its doors permanently.

We want to thank all of our customers that have supported us over the years, we couldn’t have done it without you! With all things considered this is not the end! We will be relocating to Flowerland in Iver and Moss end, continuing to serve as a staple choice for all your reptile and amphibian needs! Stocking a lot, if not more than, what we have in store and continuing the legacy of responsible reptile care and keeping!

As of this post any further holiday boarding bookings will need to be organised at Iver and Moss end in light of the closure. We have had an amazing time, and been met with a lot of love from our customer base and enjoyed every second of expanding peoples knowledge around the hobby, sharing our love and passion of everything Reptilian and positively challenging those with phobias of reptiles to face their fear with a guiding hand and watching their whole opinion change in an instant! As well as watching children’s face light up with amazement at every animal we’ve shown them!

When dates are confirmed for the closure this page will be updated, you will all be the first to know!

Once again, thank you for your custom and helping us to deliver an incredible experience with the animals and to continue doing what we love most. The team hopes to see you at Moss end and Iver over the coming months where you will be met with the same level of service and standards as you were met with here with us at Bourne End.

Avoid the Christmas rush by ordering in advance your dream animal and enclosure, the more notice the better so that we can organise everything for you.

Why not also utilise our ‘Pre Built’ Service saving you one less this to assemble this year.

If you have an enclosure already set up please contact us and send photos for pre approval so any adjustments can be made prior to animal collection.

🐢🐢How adorable is this little tortoise!! 🐢🐢

These are CB22 Hermann’s tortoises and they’re packed full of character! They fly to the opening of the vivarium looking for breakfast as well as attention and just overall are a joy to work with!

These guys make excellent beginner reptiles as they are relatively low maintenance and enjoy a herbivorous diet of leafy green! The main element of research for this species is correct protocol for hibernation, although it will be a while before these guys start hibernating. We have 4 x CB22 babies available and 2 x 4year old females available. All of which are equipped with microchips and certification!

🐍Who doesn’t love a Burmese Python?!

Especially one as pretty as this! He is currently called Melman due to his uncanny pattern resemblance to a Giraffe! (Can you figure out the reference?)

He is a Hypo het Granite het Albino and currently is only a baby clocking in at around 2.5 feet. This is a large species of snake, one of the top three largest on the planet, so it goes without saying Melman will need to go to a home that can provide the suitable requirements for him to thrive when he’s 10 foot + and be able to demonstrate capability to work with larger bodied snakes. 🐍
