Unlike many dog treat/ food manufacturers we use those same fresh ingredients in our treats. We don’t swap them out for dry powdered versions such as meat meal. Our amazing fresh ingredients enable us to create nutrient rich dog biscuits without needing to use additives or preservatives.

Why do we use fresh ingredients? It means we can produce biscuits that are nutrient rich without the need for additives or preservatives. The majority of dried powdered meat, fruit and vegetables used in many dog food and treats is lower in nutrients as it is cooked at high temperatures before being ground into powder. It is then cooked again when the final product is baked, losing more nutrients. This in some cases is why additives are used to increase the nutrient levels of the food and treats.

Well… testing of the new meat jerky seems to be going well. They are true meat strips, just a slice of dried meat, no additives or preservatives. The dogs smell them as soon as the box is opened. It’s amazing how well behaved a dog can be if there’s a treat in the vicinity 🤣🤣🤣

We have some great news! Those of you who have purchased our advent calendars in recent years will already know we have the ability to produce jerky as dog treats. After a couple of years trying to secure the best source of ingredients for our jerky we have finally done it🎉🎉. Today we debut our Organic Beef Heart and Wild Vension Heart Jerky and in a few weeks we hope to add another flavour to the range🤞.
