Meet Quill the Staffordshire Bull Terrier!

This lovely boy is here for rehabilitation after having bilateral luxating patella surgery.

With his loving owners close by, we slowly introduced him to the pool, and he quickly began to enjoy this new experience. It wasn’t long before Quill was confidently swimming laps and even indulging in soothing underwater massages during his rest breaks. 🐶💞

We couldn’t be happier to see the big smiles on Quill and his owners as they left, excited for more hydrotherapy sessions ahead!

Meet Indy the Collie x German Shepherd!

Indy has just joined us for hydrotherapy sessions aimed at easing her Arthritis and Mild Hip Dysplasia.

When we first met Indy during her assessment, she was shy and reserved. But we’re thrilled to share that on the day of her first session, she greeted us all with an enthusiastic wagging tail, clearly feeling much more at home! 🤭

With her owner cheering her on from the poolside, Indy did an amazing job learning to complete laps around the pool. As the session progressed, we could see her confidence growing, and it was so lovely to see her starting to enjoy the water! 🐶💦

We can’t wait to see Indy again soon as we continue to help her build confidence and ease her symptoms.

Meet Meg the Labrador!

Meg is joining us for hydrotherapy sessions to help manage her Hip Dysplasia, but most importantly, she’s here for some enjoyment and fitness. 🐾💦

Having attended hydrotherapy sessions previously, Meg knew exactly what to expect when she arrived. While each hydrotherapy centre operates a bit differently, Meg was more than happy to make some new friends with us. It was great to see her showcasing her swimming skills whilst also benefiting from some soothing underwater massage and therapeutic techniques tailored to help with her hip dysplasia. 🐶💞

Meet Thor the White Swiss Shepherd!

At just 11 months old, this enthusiastic puppy has been dealing with challenges, including on-and-off forelimb lameness. After a period of crate rest to manage his condition, Thor developed some muscle wastage, which led his vet to recommend hydrotherapy.

From the moment he stepped into the centre, Thor was full of energy and curiosity, soaking in all the excitement around him—until it was shower time! 😳
Like many dogs, Thor found his first shower experience a bit daunting, but with plenty of praise and gentle encouragement, he bravely faced his fears. 👏🏻

In the pool, Thor was engaged and worked well with our therapists, by the end of the session, he was swimming with newfound confidence and comfort. 🐾💦

We cannot wait to see Thor again for more sessions that will help him build strength, regain muscle, and most importantly, have fun in the process! 🫶🏻
