It's been a hectic week! On Monday I moved into my new home, so I'm a bit discombobulated. Luckily, I had the doggos to keep me sane, and I had fun today petting two Shetland ponies that we pass on my walks with Jake. Cocoa and I had fun on our walks too, we walked to Maxey and had an explore 🐾

I'm back walking the gorgeous Jake from tomorrow; he's enjoyed a week with his parents at his beck and call. He's a beaut, so he deserves it. Looking forward to seeing him again, he's a joy to walk.

Have been looking after 4 adorable cats, Boris, Fern, Scamp (who I've been calling Smudge for some daft reason), and Bella. Plus their handsome gecko brother Alan, and fishies. They've been customers of mine for a few years now, and I always enjoy visiting them.

Today I had a lovely walk with Jake in dry, warm, but overcast weather. This afternoon, I had an extremely wet, downpour of a walk with Fergus! Fergus didn't care, though. He had great fun walking through the puddles, having lots of sniffs, and being an all round Good Boy 🐾

What horrible weather! Still had lots of fun in the drizzle with Jake the Sharpei cross in Billingborough, and Cocoa the Springador in Deeping Gate. I also went to visit two bunnies, Bentley and Ruby and their ever elusive cat brother Titan. All in all, a very wet but fun day 🐾

Sorry for being a bit quiet on here lately! I'm currently house-hunting, so things are a bit mad!

In Amanda & Friends news, I am no longer known as Amanda Porter, hence the business name change. I am now Amanda Kearney-Birch. Just to confuse you all!

In a few weeks, now that I have my lovely new logo, I shall be advertising! Also, I will be getting new car magnets and logoed uniform, so keep an eye out for me and make sure you wave or come and say hello!

Please meet the adorable Sadie, who I'm walking this week alongside Jake. She is a young, nervous dog, but has been amazing with me and my son and daughter, who are helping me this week with them both. She is such a poppet! 🐾

Please be careful with your dogs in this hot weather.

If you do see me out and about with dogs over the next couple of days, please don't be afraid to come and ask me why. I do, of course, try to avoid being out in the heat as heatstroke is awful and life-threatening, but some dogs do require a short gentle walk for different reasons. I'm always happy to chat and explain 🐾

Just to make you all aware, due to the hot weather predicted for this coming week, walks will be changed to gentle garden play, or moved to earlier/later times to avoid potential heatstroke, which can be fatal in dogs.

Please be assured that your dogs' health and wellbeing is my number one priority at all times 🐾
