As promised some Open Day news!

29th March 2025 10am start…..

Once again this year we will be inviting outside stallions from far and wide to join us for our Open Day…..

This is a day to showcase both local stallions and stallions from further a field. Please do get in touch if you would like to bring your stallions.

The event is free, there is no charge for either the public or stallions so please do get in touch if you would like to join us.

There will be hot and cold refreshments all day and the all Important cake stand!!

Our Resident Stallions will all be on show along with any precious babies who have graced us with their presence…. 1/3/25 is our first due date….

We will have a small number of older youngstock available for viewing and a very informative question and answer session with Roger Lee from Tower Equine who will also be running a scanning demonstration and AI talk in the middle of the day.

Sure to be a great day so please come along…..

A super video of Furst Summer from his outing to Arena UK last week. He is off to the Regionals at the end of January and he can then been seen at both the British Breeders Stallion parade at Addington in early February and then again at the Brackens Stud Open Day at the end of March.

For anyone new to our page here is a little bit about us!! Please let me introduce Brackenspa Stud:

A fun outing for the boys before the winter blast hit. ACE arena eventing at Pickering Grange. Desert stuck to his winning form picking up his qualification for the final and Kinsky Abraham picked up a 5th. We were due to be following this up with some dressage for Desert and Furst Summer but the snow put pay to that. ❄️❄️

Winter training well under way for the boys. A quick trip to Elms Farm for 1 dressage test and 7 rounds of jumping for Ellie and 4 horses!! Looking forward to some arena eventing on Sunday!! ellieclarke_eventing Lambley House Sport Horses

One of the best parts of the job…. Teaching our homebred babies to be brave grown ups! 3yr old Brackenspa Serrano (Sambertino x Don Frederico) enjoying some Autumn long reining.

What a lovely attitude…. 3yr old filly Brackenspa Serrano, Sambertino x Don Frederico, having a trot around the arena with a different rider. This lovely filly is looking for a new home… a pedigree littered with GP horses and a temperament and attitude to be proud of. For further details please get in touch.
