Busy week this week with meet and greets..
My charges are £12 a walk
That can be upto half an hr or hrs walk..
The reason im offering solo walks and only upto three from the same family is that your dog or dogs maybe reactive.. May not want to walk in a crowd..
Im used to walking reactive dogs as ive got one myself.. Ive also rescued dogs so know what they require..
All dogs are on lead when walking with me wether that be short lead or long lead.. The reason for this is your dog can still enjoy a walk on lead but i know your dogs also coming back with me and if spooked is not going to run off..
Your fur babies are treated like my own.. I run my buisness how i would like another dog walker to walk my own.. Someone i can trust.. 😍

The Met Office has issued its first ever red weather warning for heat this weekend. Please, please, please take extra steps to keep your animals cool. Rabbits get heatstroke very easily and it KILLS!

We have large fans to keep eveybody cool, frozen water bottles wrapped in towels, cold blocks and tiles for the rabbits to lay on, shade, constant fresh water, and fresh, water rich veggies for them to munch on.

Let me stay home. It's too hot for me to walk and run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to.
And feel my paws burn.
I'm looking at you for a moment, but you do not understand. Because in a little over 5 minutes we're at the cool puddle, right? But those little 5 minutes
can be fatal to me. Because I sweat through my paws, and in this heat I just cannot get rid of the sweat. My whole body is boiling, but I keep going
And then I end up on the tarmac. In the heat and in the sun. With my tongue out of my mouth and my eyes flashing in the sun. My paws are burning, my
tongue is dry and my head is pounding in the heat that my body cannot get rid of…

Instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of cool water, somewhere in the shade. And best of all like in a cool area with grass.

Look out for and keep dogs away from a blue-green scum that appears on the surface of water such as rivers, lakes and ponds, it usually appears after a warm spell.

Sadly, exposure to toxic blue-green algae can be fatal and can also cause long term health problems in dogs that survive after drinking or swimming in algae-contaminated water.

Weve got some hot weather coming this week so thought id share this.. 😍 If your doggies are not good in heat then walk them in the morning and evening.. Keep hidrated with water and use a wet towel to cool body down.. Also never leave dogs in hot cars 😍💜

Welcome to happy paws pet service..Bournemouth dorset.
My name is carol i have two dogs of my own cloe and sapphie.. Cloe the westie is adopted from a breeder.. Her life was living in a kennel and she had never lived in a house.. Never walked on a lead and only knew the girls who fed her..
With lots of patience and love a new life awaited her in the big wide world and a home.. Everything was very strange to her.. Even walking her was a task at first as she wasnt used to people.. So gentle walking somewhere quiet where she felt safe has resulted in her now loving her walks.. She still gets anxious when people are walking behind her.. When children are around but other than that she is settling in very well.
Ive also rescued another westie who died two years ago.. So im used to taking out nervouse dogs..
I will only be doing solo walks and walks of no more than 3 dogs at a time.. The dogs also have to be comfortable with each other before taking them on a walk together..
My days free at the moment for dog walking are monday.. Tues.. Friday..
Im also offering a pop in service to feed cats.. Rabbits. Budgies. Parrots. Hamsters and Guinea pigs.. Also fish 🐠.. So all your fur babies will be well looked after..
