Happy birthday Alfie 🤎🐾

Our gorgeous Alfie has been a loyal customer since he was a pup and eight years later remains happy and healthy with the help of a raw diet. Our larger canines sometime require different diets as they take longer to transition from a puppy to an adult. They may also be more prone to joint and orthopaedic problems. A raw lifestyle provides the many nutrients needed to grow healthy and strong!

We hope you and your pets are all loving this long-awaited weather, but how hot is too hot? Take a look at our heat safety guidelines:

🟢 20-23 degrees - Potential heatstroke risk, stick to low intensity exercise and at the coolest parts of the day.

🟠 24-28 degrees - High risk of heatstroke. This heat will be uncomfortable for most dogs, especially high-risk pets.

🔴 28-32+ degrees - Life threatening heat for most dogs. Danger of heatstroke and dehydration for all pets.

What a scorcher we’ve had the last few days, finally! With that being said, it is important to take extra care with your pets during warmer temperatures ☀️

🚫 Do not leave your pets in cars
🕗 Feed and walk your pets later than usual to avoid the hottest parts of the day
💧Always have fresh, cold water available to hydrate and cool them down
🥩 Dogs require less energy in summer and may become a little fussy, so make sure they have their favourite raw meals and natural treats to enjoy!
