Possibly my most challenging fur baby to date, Schnauzer Oscar. No one knows why he now hates having his tummy and legs being touched, so I take safety measures and do my best to get a half decent job done for him. When it comes to his face however, Oscar is very calm and patient....now it's just me who needs to perfect those brows for him 💙💙🐾💙💙

Newbie black Lab...Lola. So much hair came off this beauty during her deshed, definatley had to wear my mask on this groom. By the time she left, her coat was looking super shiny and feeling so soft 🩷🩷🐾🩷🩷

Dinky multipoo puppy....Bailey. We have been seeing Bailey every few weeks for puppy intros where he was doing very well. Today he came in and we decided some of that coat needed to come off.......so, Baileys 1st full groom. Being a puppy still he was more interested in trying to mouth me or my tools and so we done what we could and will continue to work with him to teach him how to enjoy being groomed 🩵🩵🐾🐾🩵🩵

FINAL UPDATE......THE BOY IS COMING HOME 😁. He's got meds to take but Vet said he was ok to come home this eve.....
So pleased.

UPDATE.....
Thank you all so much for your messages and checking after our big, soppy boy. I've just called the vets and been told by a nurse that he is brighter and more alert, has managed to go to the toilet and had a small amount of food 👍.
Diagnosis so far....dehydration, infection and pancreatitis, but they have still not ruled out a blockage in his small intestine. We now have to wait for a qualified Vet to call us later this evening to discuss if he needs further IV fluids and another overnight stay while they monitor him.

Not really where I wanted to end up at 1am on a Tue morning.....usually snoring my head off now😴😴😴. Poor Rocco, he's not himself at all, sick, restless, off food and even his fav ball he's not interested. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about, but need to get him sorted 🩵🩵🩵

I was so lucky this week to have the pleasure of grooming this gorgeous girl.
XL Bully Brooke, who was rescued back in Oct. It broke my heart to hear of the way she was living prior to being rescued. Now, with a family who totally adore her and give her all the love she needs, she is thriving. Not only that, but she is the most gentle soul. Her owners stayed with her as she had never been to a groomers before, but, she was amazing, from the bath, drying, having her nails clipped, ears cleaned, nothing phased her. Sooooo proud of this girl ❤️❤️

Handsome Shih tzu.....Ralph. A definate pro when it comes to his groom. Im loving this slightly short cut on him, perfect for the warmer weather. He loves getting some treats when he's all finished, although, he doesn't sit still for more than 2 seconds!!! 💙💙🐾💙💙

Little Cockapoo...Lily. Her coat was in a matted mess and so I had to clip everything short. This is by no means a post to shame, instead, hopefully one that can help educate. When brushing, we are more often than not, using a brush that is not getting down to the skin. Check this by going back over the entire coat with a comb. The comb should guide effortlessly through. If it doesn't, these are areas to work on...... ensure it's brushed down to the skin and repeat with the comb. Typical problem areas are muzzle, neck, ears, legs,
Go on...... grab that comb and give it a go 🩷🩷🩷

Toy Poodle...Nelly. I see this little girl every month for a full groom, which really does help keep her coat lovely, and knot free.
She loves her photoshoot at the end and always give me some smashing pictures. 🩷🩷🐾🩷🩷

3rd time coming into me for a groom, Schnauzer Oscar. Now, for reasons his owners can not understand, Oscar absolutely hates having his tummy being touched, so getting him in and out of the bath, on and off my table and clipping his tummy (and occasionally legs) is not without it's dangers!!!! 3rd time lucky, and although not perfect, it was a step closer to being able to give Oscar the groom he deserves 💙💙🐾💙💙

Catching up again. It was a hot week last week, so I'm glad both I and my fury customers don't suffer during their grooms. Khalis, Ted, Bonnie, Ted, Dora, Ruby, Bear & Barney, all able to chill 🩷💙❤️

The gorgeous Dalha....aka Vicky Pollard!!! No sooner do you have her in a position, looking amazing, then pick up your phone for some photos, does she move or have a shake!!! Still, she's such a beautiful girl and think we managed 2 or 3 stunning pics 🩷🩷🐾🩷🩷

Another week of gorgeous pups..... Tyson, Willow, Bonnie, Little Rosie having a bath and tidy, Harry, Rosie, Daisy, Lily & Stanley 💙🩷💙🩷💙🩷💙🩷💙

Mini Schnauzer.....Molly. This gorgeous little girl really loves her cuddles, but is also nervous of certain aspects, such as clipping her front legs and working on the back of her head and chest. Again, given time, patience, lots and lots of cuddles and praise and an odd break here and there, we managed to overcome her fears to complete her groom today. My hope is that she is beginning to trust me and build her confidence with the whole process. Molly's gone with the traditional Schnauzer head, with some 'small' eyebrows..... 🩷🩷🐾🩷🩷
