This is based on the advice I would give as a nurse if you asked me in my RVN role, and not intended to cause any upset. For that reason I have not mentioned any specific brands or manufacturers!

I'm a fully qualified veterinary nurse with over 10 years of feline specific experience working in Oxford at the feline only clinic as both an RVN and also as the clinic’s head nurse for a few years between 2018 and 2021. I have also undertaken additional training in cat behaviour as this area is super interesting to me.

I wanted to start the House of Paws cat sitting service back in 2020, but COVID interrupted my plans! I finally have the opportunity to take the plunge and do something that I love and have wanted to do for a few years now.

Having often opted to postpone or even decline trips on many occasions due to not feeling comfortable with leaving my cats, I found when looking for cat sitters offering specialist care for sick cats that there were plenty of people offering cat sitting there were very few with veterinary qualifications- and none that were specifically feline only in this area.

I can offer you high quality and tailored, individual care according to what your cat needs or requires. I want to work with you to ensure that you get complete peace of mind that your cat is being cared for as if they were my own – and anyone that knows me would assure you that my cats are the most spoilt of creatures!
