December is here already !!
We are FULLY BOOKED
Our closing dates over the Xmas period
friday 20 th December
Reopening Monday 6 th January 2025

Can I please just put a reminder out about missed appointments.

While i understand that sometimes appointments have to be cancelled in an emergency, as a small business, we do ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice, where possible, before appointment cancellation, as this will enable us to offer your space to another customer on our waiting list.
I reserve the right to charge the full price of your dog’s grooming for appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice. This will be payable prior to any future booking .

Sorry it’s been a while with no posts but it’s been a crazy few months with lots of grooming to get through .Lots of new pups 👇 to meet as well .
I will be closed on these dates

Monday -14 th October -Monday 21st October

Friday 20 th December -Monday 6 th January 2025

Thursday 13th February-Monday 3rd March 2025

I can’t believe we are already having to think about Christmas appointments again ,there is very limited availability on the run up to Christmas so if your wanting a fresh smelling pooch please get in touch 😊

It’s very rare theses days but if anyone should have a stack of news papers !!I’d be very happy to take them off

Regular Checks: After walks, always check your dog’s ears for any grass seeds or debris. Early detection is key!

Grooming: Keep the hair around your dog's ears trimmed to reduce the chance of seeds getting tangled.

Avoid Tall Grass: Stick to well-maintained paths and avoid areas with tall, dry grass where seeds are more likely to be present.

Ear Protection: Consider using doggy ear covers if you frequently walk in areas with a lot of grass seeds.

Be Observant: Watch for signs of discomfort like head shaking, scratching, or redness in the ears. If you notice any of these, consult your vet promptly.

If not you have one month to get it done!

From 10 June 2024, it will be a legal requirement in England to have your cat microchipped and you may be fined up to £500 if you don’t.

If you want peace of mind, getting your cat microchipped is essential. Cats are keen wanderers and making sure they can be easily identified will increase the chances of a happy reunion if they do stray too far.

Well back to reality with a very busy week 😊
I will be closed next week as I’m sure you’re all aware it’s CRUFTS ,for us it’s utility day which is Thursday .
We will be showing but I’m also hosting friends and dogs from Spain so will be trying to show them around a little .I will be able to answer any messages and our grooming Availability now is April .

Unfortunately we lost power to the parlour and house today , They will need to dig the driveway to reach the cables over the next few days .It might make parking a bit difficult and and there will be barriers up around the drive .
