This little beauty is Ripley 🐶🩷 in for her first vet check up at 8 weeks old 🥹

Conkers contain a compound called Aesculin, which can cause the below symptoms. In severe cases Conkers can cause paralysis or collapse.

If you dog has eaten a conker contact us for advise immediately.

You can prevent conker poisoning by keeping your dog on a lead under chestnut trees. Don’t throw conkers for them to fetch, and distract them with their own toy.
