Last week I had a group of 5, so I made sure to book Bradford On Avon Dog Walking Field for Hire as it's a larger group than I usually try to do and I personally feel more comfortable in a secure field! 🐾
But just because they could all be off lead, that doesn't mean they spend the whole of the walk playing. I still like to include plenty of downtime and lots of opportunities to practice waits and sits as a group. This group in particular are fab together and they're always a joy to be out with 😊🐶
Lots of fun, chasing and happy rolls on my walk this morning 🥰🐾
Just two best friends playing in the autumn sun 🍂☀️

I realised I haven't posted a video of one of my walks for a while, so here is one from today 😊
I love watching the dogs enjoying themselves in such a peaceful and calm environment, lots of sniffing and rolling around and also a pretty fab recall using the whistle 🐾
Happy spaniels in the sun ☀️
This video is from a couple of weeks ago (thankfully it's warmed up a little since then 🥶). However, I wanted to share it anyway. Not only is it a cute video with some very cute dogs, but it's such a great reminder to myself of why I do what I do. This walk was the first walk of that day and I remember not being in the greatest mood to begin with. There was extremely heavy traffic on the route to pick up my first dog, in fact I was sat in it for over 30 minutes which made me late for picking the dogs up. Anyone who knows me knows that I hate being late and I always try my best to stick to my schedule. Ultimately it was going to push the rest of my day back and make me late for other walks. These things happen, but I knew that my mood for the rest of the day could be pretty bad due to it.
However, I then remembered how lucky I am to get to call this my job. As I was walking along I saw how pretty everything looked and realised how lucky I am to experience everyday outside and to share it with so many gorgeous dogs! My mood changed instantly and I know that whilst I will most definitely have more "bad" days in the future where nothing seems to go right - ultimately none of my days can be bad when I'm doing what I love 💙🐾
What is better than playing in puddles with your new best friend? 🐶
One of the best parts of my job is mixing a new dog into a group and finding out that they all absolutely love each other! Whilst it obviously makes my life a lot easier, it also brings me so much joy to watch them play so blissfully 😊
I clearly have far too much fun when I'm working 🤦♀️, these two together will never fail to entertain me 🤣🐶
I decided to give the agility a go with Sam at The Big Bark on Sunday!
He's 12 years old and it's been over 6 years since we stopped training so I wasn't sure how he'd do with the some of the equipment, particularly the A frame! However he completely surprised me and still clearly loves it, even if he is a little slower than he used to be (although he's never been fast 🤣)
He's definitely taught me to never doubt the abilities of a senior dog 🥰
It made my day to see how much fun this boy was having in the snow! Even if I was absolutely freezing 🥶🌨
I could watch these two play for hours 🥰🐾
It's been another rainy and muddy day today 🐾
Who else is patiently waiting for spring to arrive 😂 (and hopefully bring some good weather with it ☀️)?
Cold, crisp mornings are my favourite 🥰
Nothing makes me happier than a happy dog 🥰
First day back after my holiday and I'm instantly reminded of why I love my job so much 🐶
