It was "greetings" night in Thursday night's puppy class :).
Successful, manageable and beneficial greetings are often overlooked in puppy classes but it's such a vital social skill to develop early in a puppy's life.
Over-exuberant puppy greetings might be manageable when a puppy weighs 9kg but not when your teen puppy weighs 25-35kg! And how do you manage introductions for the more reserved/unsure puppy?
I'm so glad I provide my clients with a greeting protocol which provides life long benefits for both their puppy and themselves.

I'm so excited for October! I'm literally counting down the days. I have two new continuous professional development courses I'm starting. One is super niche and I have been waiting and wanting to do this for about 4 years (if not longer!). The other I have been waiting for around a year. For those of you who know me, know how much I love learning and stretching myself. October for me, is going to feel like Christmas has come early :)
I have a HUGE course lined up for the whole of 2025.
It just goes to show, if you love what you do, studying and working doesn't feel like a chore, it feels like a gift :)

Designed to help every puppy parent off to a great start, with unrivalled online content included with the course.The course runs for 6 weeks, and is held at Cottingley Community Centre, 6.30pm on Thursdays. Booking must be made in advance. You can book via the puppy page on the website. Pippa x

Thrilled! I'm super busy behind the scenes (as always!)...There's so much I'm doing (big reveals coming early 2024!). One of the things involves being assessed by one of the best dog training companies in the world (imho). Sent in my first two assessment videos and was relieved my training was described as "impeccable"! Needless to say a huge grin has been on my face all day and will remain there for some time to come. If you see me smiling, now you know why! ;) x
