🌱 We popped in to the paddock today for the first time since we closed to check how it’s doing….

🌱 Just LOOK at that grass!!

😞 I’m sure you’ll all remember where we were this time last year and noooooo way were we going back there again - hence we opted to close for winter!

⛄️ Massive thanks to everyone who’s made us what we are to date - without you and your amazing pooches we wouldn’t be able to bring you such a well used and amazing facility!

‼️ Please keep an eye on our social media/website for details of our reopening next spring - we’re hoping to reopen early April 2025 but we’re bound by the weather gods so it could be earlier, it could be later - we’ll keep you all updated nearer the time!

😬 On this day, last year, the paddock was completely ruined by the rain!

😃 Today, it looks 10000000% better - we still have GRASS 🌱, what a relief!! 🤪

🐶 We close our gates for winter at 4.30pm today and we’re fully booked again!

🤩 We’d like to extend another HUGE thank you to each and every one of you who’ve visited us, recommended us to friends and family, liked, shared and commented on our posts AND left us amazing reviews! We truly appreciate you all! 💚

🌫️ A lovely bit of morning mist in the valley this morning here at Woofing Around!

‼️ Remember, this is our FINAL weekend of 2024 - ground conditions are ok so we opened up a few more sessions this weekend - they were quickly snapped up (sorry)!

We close our gates at 4.30pm tomorrow and hope to open again early April - weather permitting! 🐶

‼️‼️‼️WINTER CLOSURE UPDATE‼️‼️‼️

☔️ The first named storm of the season, storm Ashley, is due to hit the UK tomorrow!

🐶 The paddock is fully booked this weekend and we’re expecting a bit of field damage, so, as a result we’ve decided to close off any remaining sessions next weekend - our FINAL weekend of this season!

🐾 If you’ve booked already, your session is still valid so please don’t worry!

📆 The booking system is now closed until Saturday 5th April 2025, however, we recommend NOT booking until nearer the time as we really don’t know what we’ll get weather wise this winter - we might be open earlier, we might be open later, we’ll keep you all updated nearer the time!

‼️‼️‼️IMPORTANT INFORMATION‼️‼️‼️

💔 First of all, please accept our sincere apologies for the radio silence over the past week or so. We have been in Turkey for a week but arrived back in the UK early hours of Saturday morning to my dad in hospital following a bad fall at home!

🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, as many of you are aware, our paddock took a major beating last year with the weather and many lessons were learned in terms of how much time it takes to rectify the damage caused by bad (excessively wet) weather, and we don’t want to go there again!

🐶 After much deliberation we’ve decided to close for winter to preserve the paddock in the hope that we can open sooner next spring!

🐾 We will therefore close our gates on Sunday the 27th of October this year, and will operate on a weekend only basis until then!

😞 We sincerely hope that this doesn’t cause too much disappointment, but we have to do what’s best in terms of field management and ultimately the safety of our users!

🐶 If you’ve already booked in for a week day session then you are more than welcome to still attend so please don’t worry! ☺️

❤️ We’d once again like to take this opportunity for your support over the summer months! We have once again smashed it and we look forward to returning next spring time!
