🤣 Check out Floki the sand monster! He absolutely adores the sandpit - so much so that his paw-rents have trouble getting him to leave!

💚 We love our dog paddock and we hope that you do too?! 🤩

💚 We appreciate each and every customer who visits, respects and enjoys the facility and follows our rules in order to keep ALL users safe and happy! To those people we extend a HUGE thank you!

😔 However, in recent weeks we’ve had a small minority of customers who have had trouble sticking to the rules and we apologise if this has negatively impacted upon your time with us!

🙋🏻‍♀️ As business owners we are expected to remain professional, polite and have an attitude of “the customer is always right”…

😔 However, when people cause damage and choose to ignore our rules this adds unnecessary time and cost to us and affects other users - not only that but it’s upsetting and disrespectful, a bit like a punch in the stomach given all the hard work we’ve put in to bring the facility to the local community!

In recent weeks we’ve had users…

🐾 Leaving late - this affects the next customers time in the paddock!

🐾 Not picking p**ps up - meaning other people have to pick it up, some dogs eat it, or, people may stand in it!

🐾 Allowing children on the agility equipment - breakages happen, but our equipment is made for use by dogs ONLY and cannot withstand children running or bouncing on it!

🐾 Smoking on site - we have a lot of wooden structures, dry grass AND a barn nearby housing animals, cigarette butts around the field also look unsightly!

🐾 Damaging equipment/obstacles/fixtures - and failing to make us aware! Imagine the consequences if a dog were to jump on a damaged obstacle unaware that it was broken because it hadn’t been reported 😔

🐾 Bringing more dogs than the amount paid for - for example, bringing 6 to a 1-4 dog session!

🐾 Shredding toys and leaving the remains scattered around the field - this poses a choke hazard! We ask that broken toys are discarded!

🐾 Not putting toys away after use - some dogs can’t play with certain toys, it’s also unfair to expect others to clear up after you and your dogs!

🐾 Leaving treats out around the paddock - some dogs have allergies and cannot eat certain treats, again, this poses a risk to those dogs!

🐶 Please remember that when you hire our facility you do so in accordance with our terms and conditions and tick the box to say so upon booking! We ask that you leave the paddock clean and tidy ready for subsequent users - they pay the same and shouldn’t be expected to use their time clearing up after others! Please leave it as you would expect to find it!

💚 Should you choose to bring guests with you, as the named booker it is YOUR responsibility to ensure they also follow the rules particularly in respect of smoking and children on the agility equipment!

🤦🏻‍♀️ Rules are boring, we get that, however a lot of the things we encounter are simply common sense and we HATE repeating ourselves because on the whole, 98% of our users are spot on and respect the facility wholeheartedly! Rules however are there for a reason - to keep ALL users and their pooches safe and happy whilst on site!

💚 We want you to have the nicest experience whilst you’re here with us, to spend time with your doggos, create bonds and enjoy them in a safe and secure environment! 🐾

💚 Please give us the respect that we deserve!

🐶 Well it’s Sunday again - we don’t know about you but this year seems to be flying by for us here at Woofing Around! 💨

💩 Another reminder to PLEASE pick up after your dog(s)! There are ALWAYS plenty of free p**p bags in the dispenser in the shelter - if they run out, just pop another roll through from inside the dispenser (see picture)!

🍳 A few boxes of fresh hen eggs and a box of duck eggs available in the little hut this morning - please leave a small donation towards keeping their bellies full if you take any! 🐓

💦 He’s also a huge fan of our handled football and loves a dip in the paddling pool when it’s warmer (and the bucket!🤣)!

⏰ Polite Reminder…

Please can customers remember that the session time that they choose includes arrival, play time AND the re-loading of doggies/leaving the facility!

We’ve been informed of a few instances this past week whereby people haven’t kept track of time and this has affected the play time of the subsequent customer/pooches!

It’s vital (even more so at this time of the year when the facility is busy) that people leave on time to allow the next customer access to enjoy their full session time…

Everyone pays for their session time so please be respectful of this! 💚

🐶🐾🦴 PLEASE READ 🦴🐾🐶

We’ve been VERY busy this past week with the holidays now in full swing - thank you!

However, we’ve noticed a few things and would like to politely remind people of the the following…

🐾 Our agility equipment is for DOGS ONLY - yep, we’ve witnessed both children AND adults using it in recent weeks! 🫣 The equipment is built to withstand use by dogs - usage by children/adults increases the chances of damage!

Should you ever notice any damage anywhere within the facility please let us know immediately - contact myself (Becki) on 07763842424!

🚭 We are a NO SMOKING facility - again, we’ve come across quite a few cigarette butts in the car park, the bin and in the field! Smoking is not permitted on sight at any time!

🚙 To get to the paddock as you know requires access through a working livery yard - we politely ask (and have signs all the way around to the facility) that driving speed is kept to 5mph - this includes coming down the main lane to access the farm itself. Please adhere to this in the interests of safety all round! 💚

We are currently in the process of acquiring quotes for CCTV installation. This isn’t something we wanted to do but we must protect the facility and those whom use it! Safety is our number one priority! We put a lot of time, effort and money in to providing an enriching, safe and secure facility. We hope you understand! 💚

🚭🚭🚭🚭Please Remember 🚭🚭🚭🚭

Here at Woofing Around we’re a NO SMOKING facility…

Unfortunately we stumbled across some discarded cigarette butts within the facility today 🫣

The facility has lots of wooden structures within it and long grass surrounding it, which, when dry can create tinder box conditions 🔥

We thank you for not smoking during your session (including within/outside the car parking area) and appreciate your cooperation on this!
