I am hoping to get these two beauties onto to the website and on pets 4 homes by the end of the week.

I am able to slightly reduce their price as a non refundable deposit was paid.

I would love to keep them together as a pair as they’ve only ever had each other.

It’s going to rip my heart out when they leave me for the second time 😢

Let’s talk about Bruce.

This isn’t his best photo but it does show his gorgeous nose off perfectly!

So as you all know, I am giving up breeding this year and Bruce has retired as a stud and has been neutered.

My plan was to integrate him into the house with the other cats but this has failed because I still have a houseful of kittens so there’s no back up plan if he didn’t get along with the other adults.

However, as I still have all the kittens, my pets Nelly, Winter and Electra have been in the cattery for a few months (they quite literally don’t mind) and I have been introducing Bruce to them and leaving them to play out together.

And I’m delighted to say that he gets on with the two silver Savannah girls like a house on fire. Electra doesn’t like him but then she doesn’t really like anyone 🤣

So my point is that I think it’s time I started to officially advertise him for rehome and he needs to be on a comfy sofa somewhere.

Im now confident that he can be integrated with other cats though he hasn’t been with an altered male so I can’t guarantee that.

He’s such a softy that I think he’d settle well anywhere.

BUT whilst he stopped spraying ages ago, he does still wee in his water bowl. I don’t believe this is anything to do with male hormones.

So if you have the patience to deal with this until it stops and you’d love to have Bruce, please get in touch.

It’s time he settled elsewhere now 🖤

Look at my beautiful Flora in her new home.

She has been there two weeks today and is settling nicely.

She hid to start with so it wasn’t plain sailing. But with patience and love, she has learnt that she is safe and she can relax.

I wish the kittens had been allowed the same grace 😢

I have very unfortunate news today.

Koffee and Kashew are now back with me after one week in their new home through no fault of their own.

The new owners were unable to feed them a raw diet (for personal reasons) and they have not been able to find a suitable alternative. As a result, I’m told the kittens cannot tolerate wet food and have had very upset tummies.

The new owners felt the only option they had was to return them.

I am hoping that I can quickly get them back to full health and eating and toileting again.

At this stage in my breeding, I am not able to take cats or kittens back but these are extreme circumstances and I won’t see my kittens get very ill over something that can be rectified.

I will ofcourse keep everyone updated on their progress and hopefully we can see them rehomed again asap 🙏

Beautiful Sittingpretty Obi Wan

He is one of the very few blues that I have bred in all of my breeding years.

I often wonder if I should have kept him as a breeder but I do love seeing how happy he is as a pet in his home.

Yesterday I got sent this photograph of my first ever Savannah Queen called Maddie. Who remembers her?

She is quite literally the foundation of most of my Savannah breeding over 17 years.

Have a look in your Sittingpretty pedigrees, I’m sure you’ll find her. Her official name was Maid Marion.

Anyway at nearly 17 years old, she’s still going strong and still much like a kitten I’m told.

Updates like this make me so so happy. She has been the love of two people’s life for all that time and I was able to give them that.

That’s what I love about breeding 🥰
