Our most excellent friends and their quality event this weekend we will be there with some of our packaging stock it a on the 12th May THIS SUNDAY and the postcode is BD23 1UD. The Yorkshire Flea opens at 9am admission is £3 and we are next to Keelham Farm Shop.

It’s coming up like a custard pie to the face, the penultimate Yorkshire Flea at Skipton for 2019 arrives in all its fascinating glory on SUNDAY 12TH MAY in the spacious surroundings of Skipton Auction Mart. BD23 1UD. Kick off is a civilised 9am for public & trade which allows all you early birds to get your worms at local car boots before we open. Entry is £3 per adult( accompanied children under 16 are free of charge .) Car parking is free and extensive, there is step free access throughout the venue and Ladies Gents and accessible toilets are provided. We are dog and people friendly. We are a catered event and the café within the Auction Mart will be open all day for snacks, drinks, full meals and cakes with much that is served sourced locally to Skipton. The Yorkshire Flea in Full Bloom is exactly that, this event will be the largest Yorkshire Flea we have run since we began in 2017, Expect over 100 pens filled with antiques, vintage goods, curios, retro items the peculiar the singular the sublime the affordable and the aspirational spanning three centuries of history ,all available for sale. We have pictures, paintings, prints. We have rings, brooches, necklaces. We have pots, glass, metalware. We have ephemera, textiles, furniture. We have hats coats and shoes. We have books magazines and vinyl. We have Taxidermy Militaria Kitchenalia . We have things to enhance your home enrich your garden and adorn your body. We are delighted to be able to bring together a solid group of knowledgeable friendly and eminently professional dealers in the rare, the forgotten, the hard to find and the simply fascinating, for one day only to Skipton for this retail event. The town of Skipton itself is a pleasant market town and boasts a range of independent businesses an antique centre and a few antiques shops, nice pubs, cafés and restaurants. We are very active with the promotion of our events and we have a lively page Yorkshire Flea Market, a Facebook group The Yorkshire Flea Circus two Twitter accounts and also we also have an Instagram account which you can find at you can e mail us on [email protected] or [email protected] you can phone us on 01274 588505 or 07889 828288 and you are welcome to speak to us at the event. Our banners for our next is up at the Skipton Auction Mart. It was a challenging job in the snow and wind. We just had to pop into as a reward to ourselves.

I have a large number of attached lid boxes ( crocodile lid boxes)which measure 400 MM. wide 600 MM long and 300 MM high ( in old money that's 16 inch wide 2 foot long and 1 foot high,)these are very strong, light stack when full and nest when empty.ideal stock boxes for exhibitors of all types. I will have some at our next event Crafts In The Pen on the 17th and 18th of November at Skipton Auction Mart and will also have them available at The Yorkshire Flea the first one of 2019 will be taking place at Skipton Auction Mart on the 24th February 2019 they are £8 each buy 10 and get one free. We are back from making our debut at the Festival of Antiques at the East of England Showground at Peterborough. It was the first time we had taken the business to a large Antiques Fair and been able to concentrate solely on running the pitch (three previous attempts we tried to run the stall alongside running a fair which we found was neither sensible nor indeed possible. We were also able to promote our event business The Yorkshire Flea and as well as all the trade supplies we stocked we had enough space to be able to display and also sell some antiques. Good to catch up with many of our friends and colleagues in the business and good to be very busy over both days. Massive thanks are due to the good folk at LilianRuby's Vintage Emporium for their skills and knowledge. The guidance and assistance was crucial to the success of the whole endeavour. Lots of things to refine new stock lines to investigate and websites to build and logistical display and storage issues to fix. we really enjoyed ourselves and have had a financially successful time also. We will be working out a circuit to take the packaging and trade supplies on. If you came and bought from us many many thanks. We will see you for sure at the Easter event in Peterborough and more details of other events we will be attending will also be posted on here.

We had a good and lively weekend at Art in the Pen at Skipton Auction Mart with our stand selling a wide range of packaging supplies to the trade and the public at this excellent event our thanks to Andy Lynan for his kindness and support. We hope to be returning to Skipton for the Crafts In The Pen in November

So in and amongst getting ready for my next event with Bowman Antiques Fairs at Bingley Hall Bowmans Antique Fairs and organising The Yorkshire Flea I have been photographing stock and adding it to the stock control software and offering stock items like a proper grown up here are a few of the useful and ingenious items I have for sale please message me if you can't get to any of the fairs I am standing at

A warm and friendly greeting to my new business page. Alongside our involvement in the organisation and management of antiques fairs and flea markets both Bowman Antiques Fairs and The Yorkshire Flea we are running an ancillary business supplying packaging display and consumable items to traders and the public at the best possible prices we can achieve. I am currently photographing all the stock lines we carry and we will be trading at antiques fairs across the country. It is our intention to be able to take advance orders for items in addition to carrying stock for the fairs and to be able to deliver pre orders to any event we will be attending. We will be attending the Stafford Bingley Hall Antiques Fair Bingley Hall, Stafford on the 2nd 3rd and 4th of February 2018 and then The Yorkshire Flea at Skipton Auction Mart on the 18th February.we will be in attendance the events organised by Bowman Fairs and all events organised by the Yorkshire Flea.
