Been down again to check on the new boy and found him under the heated capsule 🙈 I had to prop the cat flap open for him and he’s come out avoided the litter tray and peed on the Matt which I only realised after I sat on it talking to him 😮
I hope he’s bright enough to go back into the warmth will check in a bit left him chicken he’s eaten the chicken I left in his bed earlier

MEET VINNIE 🙈
Yep I’ve fallen soft again after finding out that he did in fact have a bad foot surface injury and was being kept in a shed due to Foster’s cat not liking him
Yep he’s semi feral and very scared but the foster has done amazing with him in 3 weeks she can stroke him and pick him up
He was neutered Thursday and chipped to ally cats this morning

He’s not happy right now and not eating everything is new to him again

He’s warm and safe and I will try work my magic this boy does have potential
Oh and he’s a big black fluffy beauty

Initially we had interest in homes but then I found out he was semi feral scared boy so knew he couldn’t go straight to a new home

2013 - 2025

You came to me as a 6 month old from Leeds road you were a bit timid we found a loving home for you and Sabrina but the young children were too noisy and scared you the stress caused really bad cat flu to flare up and they handed you both back to my care
Sabrina was rehomed later to a quiet home and you stayed here with your ongoing issues upper respiratory and alternating lameness has you got older your breathing took a turn and you had scarring in your throat that made eating course food difficult you were 12 now and had done amazing really
We knew something sinister was taking place but you were never well enough to cope with sedation for exploratory procedures
Sometimes we just know given the extreme weight loss and lustre
You were awkward and timid but loved your mummy and caught a few squirrels over the years for a little man we saved a magpie from your grasp once I remember when batty nana Anna slapped your tooth right out of your mouth it fell on the counter top you had far too many slaps from that one over the years 😟
Gonna miss you bunny you’ve been here years and life will not be the same
Sleep tight my bunny boy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

RIP MY BEAUTIFUL SUNNY 🥹
Sadly not the day we thought we’d loose you strange that although we were battling with your breathing and trying to get it under control with steroids so we could scan your throat at some point but it was never a perfect day you were loosing weight and not your usual self this morning you wouldn’t touch chicken so not like you and you didn’t have energy to move I went to vets to do Hollie and Bella’s vaccines when I got home you were still in same spot from this morning
Rushed you to vets and I knew in my heart I couldn’t let you suffer 🥹
At 4.15pm I held you while you slipped away into eternal sleep
Still in shock and processing it all
REST EASY NOW AND WAIT FOR ME
I loved you little awkward boy ###xx

You were a brave warrior and knew love for 17 months I’m sorry you were let down and spent time on the streets when humans let you down
We did fight for you 2 big surgeries bought you more time and love in a warm home and comfy bed
Your health took a recent decline and today it was obvious you had multiple issues with failing organs we didn’t let you suffer and your bloods tonight told us we would fight a loosing battle
We were not ready for you to go but you were very ready we knew

Fly high sweet boy wait at the bridge for us we loved you ###

Our patience is tested again as always
Last night we spent hours liasing with an Eastern European guy who needed a mum and 7 babies gone he pestered us wanting them collecting last night
My friend spent ages finding another rescue space and went to collect them to be told he’s keeping them and take mother 🙈
We couldn’t persuade him and had to walk away they will no doubt be sold under age and mum will be pregnant again soon

Two tiny babies hiding under a car in big busy supermarket car park this morning 🙈 thanks to a caring couple and my friend Debra Marie Hocking who was shopping this morning they are safe and warm
Waiting to go to the same foster that was arranged for the others last night

DESPERATE SITUATION Mum with 3 babies now 5 weeks old Brought in from cold the kind lady can’t keep them and doesn’t know cats at all but as tried her best Desperately need a cat savvy foster to get them safe and wormed also eating With our help and guide

And it’s back on 😵‍💫my hands are truly ragged now lol 😂 don’t think catnip was a good idea she’s bonkers enough already

Millie moo Houdini managed to escape her pink suit too many times to mention and I’m just monitoring her she’s leaving her wound alone she’s too busy playing she never stays still for long 😬 But she seems to be over her trauma now bless her Back to the vets tomorrow to have a post op check

SIMBA came in during summer he was the stray boy that had the serious tail injury where the fur had de-gloved and part dropped off We had emergency amputation and weeks of treatment and care which was so hard because he was pretty feral and fiesty We have worked with him and given him time to decompress and he’s turning into a real charmer Still stuck in a pen but next phase is to bring him in and test him with other cats unfortunately we don’t have the iso room free yet and Gordon the feral in opposite pen will need to come in first some juggling and magic wand I think but I’m not in a rush to throw them on a feral farm I see potential in these boys
