We've been asked to share this little one who is looking for a new home.
His name is Albert. He is 3 years old and neutered.
He is looking for a new human to love him and a forever home.
Due to his owners ill health, they are no longer able to give him everything he needs.
We can pass on a contact to you who is helping the owner.
That's all the information we have

Apologies to anyone waiting to hear back from Sam for a grooming appointment.
We've had some sick dogs of our own and problems with the lights in her workroom.
We now have nice new lights that work and our dogs seem to be on the mend.
Sam will be contacting everyone who has had their appointments postponed or have left us a messages by the end of today.
Thank you for being patient with us.

We've been hit with the awful cough/cold bug doing the rounds and it's made Sam quite poorly for the last few day's.
She will make sure that all clients will have their lists by the weekend.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
PAYING FOR GROOMING
From January 2024, the grooming part of Scoobys will be cash only.
I am spending far too much time chasing payments and reminding customers who have forgotten to bank transfer (which we have asked to be done before you collect your pet).
There are 4 cash machines local to us, 1next to the post office and 1 at the coop in Thornton l, 1 at the petrol station just up from us and one also outside the shops at the end of our road.

Finally, you should be able to use or drive from tomorrow. Its only taken them 6 weeks.
I will try and trim the hedge back tonight once I have finished grooming as it's got a little bit over grown.

UPDATE FOR GROOMING CLIENTS

We are still having issues with access to our drive ( week 5).
They have been out this afternoon to temporarily fill it it but there is still no access to it as there is now a pile of soil at the end.
We now have to wait for them to come back out, dig it up again and lay down new membrain and gravel.
When they do come there will be a digger on the drive so I will message any clients that are due.
Hopefully it will all be done before the weekend

🚙🐶 DRIVEWAY UPDATE 🐶🚙

Just a quick update for our grooming customers. We still have our driveway dug up with ongoing electrical issues. It will be week 5 on Monday.
We should have someone out Monday afternoon to do the second part of the fix, thank you to our clients who had to have their appointments changed at short notice yesterday.
We have no idea when the hole will be filled in.
Parking restrictions are back from tomorrow on our road so if you see a warden or are worried you can phone or text Sam on 07791838049 and she can come out to you to collect your pet.
Hopefully we won't have issues for much longer.

🐶 SCOOBYS GROOMING 🐶
While we were away we have had a very big issue with the main supply of electricity to our home. This is still on going.
At the moment most of our drive has been dug up and is surrounded by barriers.
We have have managed to get them to come back out and make it so that Sam's customers can still get access to her.
If you have an appointment with her over the next few days, maybe the next couple of weeks please be very careful coming down our drive , Sam will be looking out for you and will be able to help if needed.You will also need to park on the road,there are no parking restrictions during the summer holidays. Please remember not to block any of our neighbours drives.
We haven't been told yet when they will be coming to fix the issue but we do know that the electricity will have to be turned off for a short while.

🐶 IMPORTANT MESSAGE🐶

We are now back from our holiday,(We don't put it on our page that we are away for obvious reasons). We have had very limited phone signal and internet whilst we were away .We will be working through all the messages we recieved whilst we were closed. Please bear with us, it may take us a few days to get back to everyone.
Just a reminder that if the purple gate is locked that the grooming part of Scoobys is closed. Please contact Sam by either a message on here or by text.
Please don't try to come through/knock on the front door,or stand in front of our front window ( it doesn't make our dogs very happy) these parts are our home and not part of Scoobys.
