Happy Sunday all and a snowy one at that :)
We were booked to attend a birthday party today but unfortunately due to the extreme weather we have decided to postpone this, customer is happy with this but I felt it was worth putting a post up.
Although I do my upmost to attend every single event I am booked for, there are some situations where the need arises to postpone. The weather today is one of them. The animals are my priority and travelling with them is not safe for them (or me). So we shall be staying toasty inside (with the exception of a little bit of sledging with the twins :) )

Our 3rd weekly factfile is from one of our extremely interesting animals our legless lizard!

Alan (1,2, and 3) is our trio who reside with us and love to play hide and seek!

These unusual lizards are found naturally in Europe and the UK (although they are protected so cannot be taken out of the wild!)
They can eat upto 20 slugs in as many minutes making them very useful in our gardens. They will lose their tails if picked up incorrectly though so are a very delicate species.

Alan is very good at helping during the evolution topic as well as adaptation and habitat :)

So as we bring 2024 to a close I would like to thank everyone for your custom and repeated bookings since I officially came back to work after having the twins.

2025 brings me so much excitement, not only do I get married in June (👰🤵‍♂️) but I have so many schools lined up to meet and get to know :)

I hope 2025 brings you all as much excitement as me!!!

I look forward to meeting you all soon!!!

Weekly factfile incoming......

This week its the turn of Nova our young bearded dragon.

Bearded dragons are found throughout much of Australia and inhabit environments such as deserts, and scrubland.
They are a semi arboreal species, spending significant amounts of time of branches, in bushes and near human habitation

What an amazing day we have had at Hoyle Court Primary School. Norman has been very busy answer phones and meeting prospective students.
Jaffa has been snuggled all day and titanium has helped to conquer some fears too!
I'd just like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all staff members for your hospitality and understanding (I'm suffering with sinusitis at the moment and it's awful!) and I hope I get the opportunity to work closely with you guys in a classroom environment :)
