***SERIOUS MESSAGE TO ALL***
Going forward I will be asking for deposits for all appointments from ALL customers, even those who have been regulars for a long time simply because one regular (I never for a second thought she would be like that) who I gave leniency to today has taken the p**s. My time is valuable, I'm running a business and for a client to not turn up and then not pay the missed appointment fee is not on!
The money I have lost today was part of my electricity and gas bill!
I'm going to feel horrible asking for deposits from those who I know (or think I know) would not do this to me, however, I didn't think this regular would do this to me but she has so my trust is now gone.
A lot of you know my situation this year and that I have had 2 surgeries already this year and I was told by my surgeon on Tuesday that I need another surgery cos I'm still not fixed. So you can all imagine how tight money is for me atm with only just really getting back to work and now heading towards another surgery meaning more time off!
As all my customers have signed terms & conditions which states that full grooming price must be paid if appointment missed, I will now be enforcing this by taking those who don't pay the missed appointment fee to small claims court to retrieve money owed to me.
Quite a lot of people are going to be in for a shock when they get a letter through their door. Plus they will have to pay the court fees so I'd recommend anyone who still owes me missed appointment fees to pay up before it goes to court.
PLEASE REMEMBER......I have signed T&C's from all of you which are classed as contracts.
