John at 26 years old whilst living in Suss*x and exploring androgyny and bis*xuality. My thinking at the time was that every man possesses female hormones just as every woman possesses some male hormones and that therefore a part of me, despite my outward appearance of being male, must in fact be female and most men just didn't own up to having this inner woman. I had been s*xually repressed until the age of 23 when I began visiting brothels (for intimacy mostly rather than s*x) and using soft p**n. This then was the flip side of that when I decided I would no longer be in awe of women but instead would compete with them. The photo was taken by a modelling agency in Gatwick.

Thank you to Terence for tipping over my box of discs containing early footage of Daisy and Thomas, so that he could nibble on the side of my Voter photo ID certificate which was also in there.

I'm sure I will miss all these antics in a year or so when he becomes a fat lump but mostly I'm going after him now saying "Terence! STOP!"

A few photos of Beatrix. The reason many of them show her faced away from me is that if I point my phone camera at her, her instinct is to rush towards me. She also twists and turns the whole time to avoid being picked up. A cat with a sense of humour.

Tomcat Tabitha just been to the vet to restart his vaccinations as didn't get done last year. He will be back in 3 weeks for the second one and Prince will have his booster vaccination at the end of the month. Toffee then will be the only cat requiring vaccinations in July and again, he needs to restart. Current cost of restarting vaccinations at our vet is currently £60, compared with £50 for a booster. No walks taking place for cats this morning as John wants a bit of quiet time before he heads for work. (These photos were taken during the weekend just gone).

More technical issues: this time seemed to be more with Teams app than my end. My consultation today ended up being a telephone consultation therefore and following discussion the psychiatrist has said that although I appear to have some autistic traits - noticeably social anxiety - he does not believe that I meet the criteria for a diagnosis of autism.

Memories of Paris trip 2007. Sorry if this seems really sad to anyone by the way, but travel is just not a possibility at present time and yet in my 20s and 30s, I very much enjoyed the freedom to just get up and go wheresoever I pleased - and had the funds to do so. These days I'm happy if I can lay my hands on a t'shirt which isn't full of claw holes to be honest, but I enjoy remembering times past.

More memories of my first and so far only flight in an aeroplane, to Paris in 2007.

Following completion of the coursework for my NVQ3 Patisserie course and whilst taking some time off to compile my Evidence Folder to secure my qualification, I allowed myself to blow most of my savings on a trip to Paris and enjoyed the sensation of being in aeroplane for the first time in my life. I had been to Paris and Rouen once previously with Brighton Technical College a few years earlier, but that was a coach trip and ferry crossing. The movies from that time were taken with my first digital camera, which was a a basic Olympus compact that used Apple Quicktime and the move is were not of high quality, but it has been possible to extract some snapshots from them. Obviously, with sole care of a large group of cats, I do not travel currently and will not for some years to come, so these memories are important to me.

John in 2006 at Leeds Thomas Danby. This photo was taken during an NVQ 3 Bakery course (2 year course). Later I would settle for attaining my NVQ 3 Patisserie (a 1 year course) instead as after the first half term of bakery I felt I was out of my depth. In this session we were working with chocolate.

John became a kitchen porter at 21 years old, a Commis Chef at 23 years old and whilst I am occasionally roped into helping out in a works canteen, basically I quit being a chef in 2017. It is likely I have adult autism. My emotions are a bit all over the place currently and my focus has switched to the cats so that I basically went into retirement mode a little early because the cats forced me to be myself rather than pretend to be just like everyone else to get ahead in a career . I will retire from work in fact in around 16 years time.

I still have the energy to make myself useful in my current profession as a cleaner but I no longer wish to think about work once my working day is done.
