So that’s 9.30-4pm Tuesday - Fridays
And 9.30-1.30 Saturdays
Closed Sundays and Mondays
Pop in before Christmas Eve to make sure you have everything you need

We Regret to inform you that a very much loved family member Sara has passed away
Her funeral is on the 23rd of august so we will not be opening the shop that day.

Please make sure you get any of your pet foods by Tuesday the 22nd.
We will be open again on Thursday the 24th at 9.30

“WE ARE OPEN. Despite the road closure for gasworks.
If you cannot get in by the garden centre roundabout, then go through old Cressing to Cressing Temple, Barns, then turn right back onto the main road to reach us. OR come through Cressing or White Notley railway crossings to reach us.
If TRAFFIC congestion does not allow you to get here then please ring the shop on 01376 322442, and I will arrange for you to collect your food over the weekend or in the evening when the traffic will be much lighter. Thank you for your support.

please be mindful of your dogs in this hot weather this weekend

❗️ Heat stroke warning

With temperatures soaring, please be aware of the signs of heat stroke in dogs – thank you to our friends at Now for this handy temperature warning. Our furry friends can really struggle in the heat, so it is vital we keep them cool in these extreme temperatures 🐕

🐶 Walk in the early morning or later in the evening when it is cooler
💧 Always provide plenty of water
😎 Access to cool and shady areas
❌ Never ever leave your dog in a parked car on a sunny day
☀️ Watch out for the signs of heat stroke and seek veterinary care immediately if you are concerned

If you are due to attend a donation session with us this week, please be mindful of travelling with your dog in the heat. Keep them in an air conditioned car where possible and provide plenty of water. We will continue to review the situation and will ensure we are only running donation sessions if it is safe to do so. As always, the welfare of your dog is our top priority.

as local residents will be aware today is Braintree Carnival
we are open until 1.30pm
traffic maybe effected due to certain roads closing we recommend coming to the shop as early as you can

as some of you may be aware there are temporary traffic lights on the main road directly opposite the shop
we just wanted to let you know that if you are stuck in the build up of traffic around closing time [1.30] please call us and we can wait for you as we know the lights are a nuisance
