I offer a range of Dog Training & Behaviour Services. With a focus on making training fun for both you and your dog so that you are able to get the best out of your new family member. All training is positive and uses science based methods. I have worked with Guide Dogs for 13 years, and in that time I have become a Fully Qualified Guide Dog Trainer, & Certified Tutor, holding a Cert of HE in Cani
ne Assistance; Dog Training. Before working at Guide dogs I completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology at the University of Leicester, where I gained a passion for studying behaviour, and animal learning. Having always grown up around dogs, (mostly rescues) of all shapes and sizes, after graduating I rescued a dog who had a number of behavioural issues, my gorgeous boy George! Without him I would not be where I am today. He inspired me to pursue my childhood dreams of working with dogs and develop my understanding to go on and learn more about Canine Behaviour. He is my living proof, that with love commitment, mutual understanding & a lot of hard work, ANY dog can be trained - all they need is someone who believes in them & a second chance! I have a real passion for working with rescue dogs, and those who have just been misunderstood. I love all shapes and sizes. I know that our dogs are more than just a pet. They are a member of our family, and I believe they deserve the very best we can offer. I am continually attending CPD (Continued Professional Development) to ensure that I am up to date on the most recent training techniques and research; I am currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management. I know that each dog is an individual, and I’ll work with you both to give you tailored advice and guidance throughout your training journey. Whether you’re thinking about getting new dog, have a new pet, or already own a pet with behavioural problems, I am here to help.
