Friends For Pets Friends for Pets was set up in the Cheddar area of Somerset in 2008. Lucy manages the Brecon Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Team. Lucy moved back to Brecon in 2021.

We are a pet sitting company offering a range of very flexible pet care services including:-
Dog Walking
Overnight dog boarding
Doggy day care
Adventure Walks
Cat Sitting
Pet Visits to your home
House Sitting
Poo Collection Within a couple of months of starting up, rapid growth of the company meant a couple of extra pairs of hands were needed to help with the increasing number of clients. This gro

wth continued until we had around 85 pet carers covering a large area of the South West. This was proving very difficult to manage from one central office and standards of service were slipping so it was decided to franchise the company so each area could be managed by a person local to the area who could keep the highest standards of pet care and allow a more controlled growth of the company. Each team has a small, long-standing team of pet carers that become extended members of our client’s families. Becca is exceptionally picky with who is awarded a franchise and only looks for animal-focused franchise owners who are driven by the same ethics and standards as herself making us stand apart from other franchised pet companies. A few years on and we have developed an Award-Winning team of expert managers and pet carers who offer the highest standard of Pet Care that we can to local communities. She lives in Brecon with her two fur babies, Maisie and Alfie the miniature dachshunds. She has always been an animal lover, having grown up in the Brecon area with cats and dogs in her family, as well as guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even terrapins at one point! Her background is in law and she qualified as a solicitor in 2010. In 2018, when Lucy lived in Bristol and was looking for day care options for Maisie and Alfie, she came across Friends for Pets. She ended up having a conversation with Becca which turned out to be life changing – it came at a time when Lucy was feeling totally disillusioned with working full time in an office environment. She knew she wanted to do something else so when Becca mentioned that an opportunity had come up in the Bristol team she jumped at the chance, and the rest is history! The Brecon team is managed by Lucy and Elen. We now have an absolutely amazing pet care offering in the Brecon area. All of our pet carers have close relationships with their clients and their pets and the team really does aim to be part of your extended family! Lucy, Elen and the team can offer dog walking, overnight home from home dog boarding, doggy day care, pet visits, overnight house sitting and other services tailored to the needs of you and your pet. Hi! My name is Jasmine and I am a veterinary student in University of Bristol. So as you’d expect, I absolutely love animals big and small and I’m dedicated to take care of them to a high standard. We cannot believe we've been open in Brecon for 3 years! We've met and looked after so many wonderful fur babies (we can't feature them all here, there's just so many 💗).
