Ginge went missing 3 days ago now, he is a male, ginger cat who hasn’t been done yet, went missing in Wouldham village in Rochester postcode is ME1 area.
he also has a blue collar. He doesn’t normally go out and if he ever does it’s to sit in the back garden so I’m quite worried.

Molly and Coco have settled really well and are enjoying exploring our house now. They are really playful during the day and love a cuddle in the evening. Both of our children are loving having them both in our house.

🐈‍⬛ Celebrate National Black Cat Day — Find Your Purrfect Match! 🐈‍⬛

Did you know that black cats are often overlooked in rescue centres simply because of old myths and superstition? Over 50% of the cats in our care are black or black and white.

This National Black Cat Day, let’s change that story — and help these beautiful cats find the loving homes they deserve!

Why Adopt a Black Cat?

🖤 They’re Stunningly Elegant
With their sleek, shiny coats and bright eyes, black cats are pure magic — living works of art!

🖤 They Bring Good Luck (Really!)
In many cultures, black cats symbolize prosperity, love, and protection. Adopting one might just bring a little extra luck your way.

🖤 They’re Full of Personality
Playful, affectionate, loyal — black cats have just as much charm and character as any other colour (if not more!).

🖤 You’ll Be a Hero
By adopting a black cat, you’re helping fight the stigma and giving a cat that’s often overlooked a chance at a happy, love-filled life.

These beautiful cats and many more can be found on our webpage here: https://www.cats.org.uk/kent where you will find more information about adopting from the Kent Cat Centre as well as the individual profiles for each cat featured in the images.

To celebrate Black Cat Day today, we would love to see your black cat photos, please in the comments below 😻

Have you adopted from us? We’d love to hear how they are getting on!

Handsome ginger tabby Leo is looking for a new outdoor patch to call his own.

All he needs is an outdoor home such as a house with a spacious garden, a farm, small holding or a stables where he can live the best cat life with everything on his terms. All in return for a cosy shelter, daily feeding and any veterinary treatment if and when required.

He is independent and is happier with his own space but he may possibly one day in the future like some human company. He previously lived happily with 2 sausage dogs and could often be found snoozing in the bed with them. He thoroughly enjoys hunting so he would make a great pest controller to help out his humans.

Leo will come with everything he needs to start his new life with you and he is fully vet checked and ready to go.

Can you help? If so, please email us on:[email protected]

Sage and Pixie (now Fearn) - Adopted October

Thank you so much for letting us adopt Sage and Fearn.

I do believe they have started to settle in quite nicely! Sage hid for a while, Fearn being the more outgoing. It took a few days to earn their trust, but with time and treats, they succumbed! We think they enjoy the space, their zoomies are epic! It sounds like we have a bunch of teenagers rattling up and down the stairs, and our bed is their favourite night time sleeping place. However, move your foot, and it gets a bit of cat attention, just to make sure it's not something dangerous to us! We've gotten used to it lol! They do both so love jumping, especially to higher places, as well as from furniture to furniture. We lovingly call them 'The hooligans', and the description fits! They are learning not to attempt to take food off plates very well,
To sum it up, they are amazing, and we love them!

Mei (now Poppy) and Totoro (now Mittens) - Adopted October

Mei (now named Poppy) and Totoro (now named Mittens) are settling in really well. They're very playful, love cuddles and like to snuggle up on our laps which is lovely.

They're getting used to their new home and are becoming more inquisitive by the day!

I've attached a couple of photos of them relaxing on the sofa (Poppy is even mid-yawn!).

Baboon (now Pepper) - Adopted October

Baboon, now known as 'Pepper', is settling in perfectly.

Our dogs are growing to tolerate her, hopefully they will eventually like her!

She is such a loving little cat, and after darting around to explore anywhere, and everywhere, she can get to, she cuddles up on our lap for ages.

Already very much a member of the family, we are so glad to have adopted her, thank you.

Chimp (now Ernie) - Adopted October

Ernie has settled in so well! He is definitely a character…!

It didn’t take him long to come out of his shell, he’s so confident (never met a cat who actually likes the hoover!) and very cheeky. He likes to climb and jump on EVERYTHING and follows me around anywhere I go which is very sweet. He is the sweetest cuddle bug when he’s tired.
He’s very vocal too and loves to play, especially with feathery toys and the laser! He loves his food, actually any food, and will attempt to steal from his sisters bowls or my plate, or the worktop while I’m cooking so they currently have their meals separately…

Winnie warmed to him straight away, not once hissing or growling, even when he was unsure of her and she gave him space until he was ready to be friends (now regularly found grooming each other). Bonnie took a little longer to come round to the idea of a baby brother and spent the first few days hissing and growling at him but has now decided he’s okay and they now chase each other around at all hours playing.

Thank you so much for matching us with Ernie, he’s such a lovely boy! I now have 3 cats protection babies and couldn’t imagine my life without any of them! Thank you for everything you all do!

Langur (Now Ollie) - Adopted October

Langur now Ollie has settled in well, like he’s lived here with us forever. He gets along with our little girl Mona like a dream; they are genuinely besties it’s so lovely to see! A LOT of play fighting happens here since they’ve both got so much energy, along with lots of cuddles together.
