Oreo and Cookie- Adopted December

Ernie and Bertie (aka Oreo & Cookie) have the run of most of the house already and are both doing well with daily gentle interactions with our dog who is also doing very well.

He is learning that cats do not want to play and the kittens have quickly established their boundaries and taking the lead with Ernie being the most confident.

They are both very affectionate with Ernie being the most adventurous and Bernie needing regular cuddles.

They also sleep through the night in their bed under our bed which is a pleasant surprise! However last night Bernie spend the night on our youngest son’s bed so he is getting much more comfortable.

Wishing you, the team and the cats a lovely restful Xmas and New Year.

Rolo, 2 year old ginger neutered and microchipped male, has been missing from the area of Dove Close in Chatham since 21st December. He is quite new to the area so could have been spooked and hiding somewhere.
Please email [email protected] org.uk if you see him. Thank you.

Ariel (now Poppy) - Adopted December

Ariel is now Poppy and she is settling in so well. she absolutely adores her big sister although Bailey is still not sure, although are slowly getting closer with sniffs and the hissing has calmed down a lot.

She loves attacking our Christmas tree, we’ve lost most of the pine needles so getting a fake one next year. Haha.

She loves her ball toys and her favourite place to sleep is at the bottom of the cat tree underneath the radiator.

She loves her food!!! We’ve had to separate them at feeding times as she finishes first and makes a beeline for her sisters.

We love her so much.

She is never far away from us and loves to snuggle under our necks and our. She loves toys and playing caught the fish. She is amazing at using the litter tray and she like a full tummy. Merlin my 7 year old black cat as made her feel so welcome into his home and allows her share to sofa with him and the cat beds. She is the most special Christmas I could have ever wished.

Shadow (now Gizmo) - Adopted December

Gizmo (shadow) has settled in so well after we bought him home last week. Each day he and our other cats relationship improves, and it's bought the playful side back out in her! His personality is really starting to show now, and it's so lovely to see how comfortable he is within such a short amount of time. Couldn't imagine ourselves without him now! ❤️

Pickle (1 Yrs old, Male)

Pickle came into the Centre as his wasn’t getting along with the older cat in his home.
Pickle is a sweet boy who will come out of his fort to say hello to you and have a fuss. He could possibly be suitable in a home with older children 12+, following a successful meeting here at the Centre.
Pickle will need to be the only cat in his new home and a home without dogs.
Once he has settled in, he will need to have access to the outside.
Can you offer Pickle his forever home?

Cleo (1yrs, Female)

Cleo came into the Centre as she was very unhappy living with a new baby in the house. Cleo is a sweet girl who is looking for quiet adult/teenage home, she can relax in. Once she has settled in, she will need to be given access to the outside into a secure garden. She is looking to be the only pet in his new home without other cats and dogs. Can you offer this delightful girl her forever home.

Francis and Molly - Adopted December

Francis is now called Bonnie and Molly is now called Jessie (both from Toy Story 4, as it is our son’s favourite film).

They have settled in so well, so much so that it’s like they’ve been here forever. They love playing together and climbing the entire Christmas tree! We have all massively fallen in love with them and they have their own such unique characters. Bonnie likes to keep herself to herself until there’s food around and then you can’t get rid of her, or will have a cuddle on her terms. Jessie is the polar opposite and the definition of a cuddle bug, if you sit down for more than 30 seconds she’ll be on your lap or sitting on your shoulder/back. Please see attached photos from approximately 7/8 hours of being at our house.

Kumba (Now Daisy) - Adopted December

Daisy has definitely settled in well, she has put on a little weight and has really come out of her shell! Lots of play time, cosy nights in front of the log burner and lovely snuggles (accompanied by the occasional love nip!) She’s a sassy little ninja, but she is very happy and we are so in love her crazy cuteness 🥰

My camera roll is full of her beautiful little face, but please see some of my favourites!

Oscar - Adopted December

Oscar has settled in really well. On his first day here he ended up sitting on our lap and he curls up on our bed every night. He is very affectionate and loves giving us licks and head bumps.
He likes the room we set aside as ‘his’ and loves the comfy cat bed we put in there for him and will curl up in it every day for a dose, but he is spending more and more time downstairs with us.
Whilst we obviously haven’t let him out in the garden yet he uses up a lot of energy running around the bedrooms and up and down the stairs.
And when he’s done with that he likes nothing more than to sit on the lounge windowsill looking out at our little close.
He is a lovely boy and has made it very easy for us to settle him in. We’re so glad to have him in our lives.
