Styx (now Vince) and Nox (now Dave) - Adopted November

Styx (now Vince) and Nox (now Dave) are settling in well! Dave is the cuddly cute cat who can’t go without wanting to cuddle and flop on you at any moment. Vince took a little longer to warm to us, but has since decided that flopping right next to Dave is the best place to be! We are proud to say they no longer try to steal each other’s food… at first! Haha!

Vince has been very curious about the house. He likes to climb. A lot. Whilst he has a ceiling high cat scratcher, the absolute must climb location is the kitchen counters. That way he can keep his eye on Dave whilst we make his dinner!

They are wonderful additions to our little family.

Baby G (now Gus) - adopted November

Thanks again for allowing us to adopt Baby G (Gus).
Just thought we would let you know he is very much settled and making himself at home.
After a couple of days we are able to pick him up, he jumps up on sofa for fuss and cuddles and seems really good.
He favourite things are exploring the house and to him no nook and cranny is safe and food.

Sirius - adopted November

Just an update on Sirius who we adopted last Thursday.

So far he has settled in very well. We had one little accident on the first night, but after that he has been using his litter tray every time.

He is getting plenty of cuddles and strokes. He is very much loved.

He is a little jumpy with any sudden movement, but every day he is getting better.

Casper - adopted November

Casper (now Martin) is settling in well, he comes when called and can hear him jumping off the bed and running down the stairs to us. He sits on our laps and sleeps with us. He’s still a little bit wary at times but that’s understandable.

12 year old Albert came into our care after being a stray.

This sweet, gentle giant may be a little on the older side, but don’t let that fool you – he’s got plenty of love and cuddles to give!

Albert is a true lap cat at heart. He adores curling up in the warm comfort of your lap, purring contentedly as he dribbles with happiness.

Whether you’re reading a book, watching TV, or just relaxing, Albert will be by your side, soaking up the love and attention.

His gentle nature makes him an ideal companion for someone who’s looking for a calm and affectionate friend to share their home with.

He is looking for a calm environment and should settle with older children 8yrs+ following a successful meeting here at the centre.

Once he has settled in he would love to have access to a garden so he can explore.

Could you be the one to give Albert the best years of his life? Come meet this sweet boy – he’s ready to steal your heart!

Martha - adopted November

Martha (now known as Gwen!) has been settling in wonderfully, you would have thought she has been with us a lot longer. She is a chilled out, confident lady who has taken everything in her stride - she was napping next to me on the sofa that very first evening and has been a little, attentive shadow even since. We have enjoyed learning her personality and routine and poke fun at her as she yells for biscuits each afternoon! I never forget 5pm when working from home now, she will literally come and get me! Brushing time is her favourite and she will literally grab the brush from you and hold it to her face.

Thanks so much for your help and support - we feel very lucky to have found each other!

Mia - adopted November

Thank you for letting us adopt Mia. She is absolutely adorable and so well behaved and super friendly. She loves our company, she wants to be a part of everything we do and she especially likes spending time with the children, even if it’s just hanging out in their rooms watching them play.

Mia settled in very well, she loves cuddles and she enjoys any attention she can get. We have all fallen in love with her and she is definitely part of our family now

Bugsy - Adopted November

So our first few days Bugsy was really terrified !! He only came out to eat and found a hidey hole we couldn't get him out of. He came out the next day in the evening for food & we managed to block it up, so he found another safe place that is still a favourite . He ate well & used his tray (both of these have never been a problem for our little man)

By day 6 he was feeling a bit more confident (although his tail was kept down) having explored our bay window and all around downstairs, was taking food from our hands but still not wanting to fuss or cuddle, still early days .

Day 10 we had a little break through as Bugsy finally allowed both of us to fuss him, his purr showed up as did his voice BUT by next day he reverted and kept his distance again.

Day 12 (today) I came home to find Bugsy on his bed by the radiator resting after a strenuous fussing by my partner and he woke up and wanted more fussing for a while before having a few sweeties and going to murder his toy mouse and then back to his bed for a much needed rest !! His Purr and voice are definitely there and his tail was up walking around for the first time too
Still a long way to go but we hope love will win him over

Have added a few pics as you asked hope you can see our little man gaining some confidence in them
