LUNA - Dachshund - 4-5 years old, has now been spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped and is ready to find her forever home.
She is such a lovely girl - super friendly with both humans and has not been any bother with other dogs that she encounters. Cats unknown and untested.
Luna has been used as a bit of a breeding machine but undercarriage is tightening up.
Any children in the home need to be 6+
She has been a good girl whilst we have had her in kennels but may need a bit of a house training refresher.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing needed.
We would ideally like to see Luna go to a home where she is not going to be left for more than a few hours.
Contact Wallace Kennels - she is in Essex.
An application form is required in the first instance but do not apply if you are currently away or will not be around in the next few weeks.

PET FREE FOSTER HOME urgently needed for Spider as he has a poorly paw and it won't heal whilst he is in kennels.
The home needs to be within easy reach of our vets either at Blackmore, Billericay or Writtle areas. Children over 6 years, secure garden and experience with larger breeds.
All food and vet expenses covered.
Contact Wallace Kennels via email - [email protected] if you can help him recover. Thank you.

We have called this pair GRACE and KELLY. They are believed to be Ridgeback/Mastiff crosses.
Both have now been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped as no one came forward for them. Around 12-14 months old.
Unfortunately they will be seeking homes SEPARATELY as they squabble quite badly with each other. One is more submissive than the other. Both very people friendly.
Literally everything appears to be new to them so wherever they came from was a pretty sheltered life. Very unsure about entering a home, need lifting in to vehicles, have to be lead walked passed the other dogs - won't run past them. Slowly getting used to walking on a lead and wearing a harness.
Have to say they sound the part and will make an excellent deterrent but that's a far as they go next step is to lick you to death.
Experienced handler would be required and ideally a property with land would suit each of them perfectly.
Any children would need to be 6+ and very dog savvy.
Cats unknown and untested.
So far they have not been a problem with other dogs especially neutered males but would say as confidence grows other bi***es may be a problem.

BUNNY is at the vets today being spayed, receiving her final vaccination so will be fully vaccinated and getting her cherry eye seen to. This photo was taken early on in December and she has been on medication for her skin and that is looking a lot better than it does in this photo. Not a lot we can do about her undercarriage which is the result of being bred and bred from - she is only 4 years old.
We will be seeking a pet free home for Bunny, not that she has been a problem with or around the other dogs - because she deserves the sole love and attention of someone to make up for the hell she has been through.
A secure garden is needed and any children in the home need to be 6+
Travels well, may need a house training refresher due to life of breeding. Walks well on lead.
Contact Wallace Kennels - she is in Essex.

If you have already applied - check your spam box as you may have received an invitation to view. If you have received a viewing invitation and are no longer interested please at least let us know as Holly has spent the last 4 days being messed around. Thank you.

HOLLY - Cockerpoo - 3 years old - Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming.
We are ideally looking for a FAMILY home for Holly that HAS children from ages of 5+ AND/OR a home that has a neutered male of a similar size for Holly to chase around.
Holly is a real poppet, has bags of energy and enthusiasm and is going to be a real gem in her new home. Lots of exercise needed as she likes to be on the go, plenty of playtime and then settle down for an evening of cuddles.
Clean in her kennel, walks really well on the lead, travels well.
Holly has been absolutely fine around the other dogs she has met.
Cats unknown and untested.
We would also prefer a home where Holly is not going to be left for more than a few hours by herself.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.

Another of our dogs who has received very little interest. He is a young lad, very responsive and currently sporting a poorly paw as one of the other dogs bit him so is being a really big baby waving it at everyone. If someone is a lover of large breeds then Spider will be right up your street - he is gorgeous.
SPIDER - 12-14 months old and is a large crossbreed (Caucasian X maybe), neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped (which states he is a Cane Corso?).
Very friendly boy with humans. Strong.
Needs an experienced person used to large breeds to continue his training.
Any children in the home will need to be 8+ and dog savvy.
Cats unknown and untested but would be very surprised if he is cat friendly at all.
Has not really taken much interest in other dogs in and out of the kennels but would initially prefer to home him as the only pet in the home.
Definitely a secure garden with adequate height fencing is required - 6ft +
We would like to see him in a home where he is not going to be left for long periods of time and one where he is allowed to be part of the family.
Contact Wallace Kennels - he is in Essex.
An application form is required in the first instance but do not apply if you are away or will not be around in the next few weeks.

ELI - Sharpei, neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped - 4 years old.
Eli has been such a good boy.
He is on the whole dog friendly and could live with a spayed submissive female or a very non-reactive neutered male but he will react back if dog is entire and confronts him.
He is lovely to walk and is becoming our volunteers first go to dog.
Travels well and without issue.
Fully house trained.
Can be a little bit shy of new people but nice treats (cheese or chicken) soon win him round. Once he knows you he is a super friendly affectionate dog.
Would say that Eli is more suited to someone who knows the breed or has dog experience. Any children in the home need to be 6+ and used to dogs.
Cats unknown and untested.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
We would ideally like to see Eli go to a home where he is not going to left for hours on end.
An application form is required in the first instance but do not apply if you are away or will not be around in the next few weeks.

ENZO - Mastiff X - neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped, 2 1/2 years old.
Big strong boy who is going to need an experienced dog owner - would say not really suitable for a first timer. He is friendly but can be stubborn and likes to do things in his own time but does do as he is told when he is ready.
Good boy in his kennel, very clean so definitely house trained.
Walks well on the lead but strong.
Travels well once you've got him in the vehicle.
He does walk past all the kennels without issue and has generally taken no notice of the other dogs but like most will react if reacted to so would only place him as the sole pet initially. He may be fine with a spayed submissive bitch but we do not have any to test him with. Cats unknown and untested.
Children 8+ and dog savvy.
A secure garden with 6ft fencing is a must.
Contact Wallace Kennels - he is in Essex.

HUGO - Belgium Shepherd - 2 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Super people friendly boy but NOT dog friendly, cats pretty doubtful too.
Hugo is very loving and affectionate with his humans, super strong boy, house trained, travels well, initially pulls on the lead but does calm down however he will need someone on the other end of the lead who is able to control and handle him - would not advise a first time owner. Very toy focused not really bothered by treats.
Any children in the home need to be 8+
We would love to see Hugo go to a home where he is going to be part of the family and not left for long periods of time on his own.
A secure garden with 6ft fencing is a must.

Totally surprised that TINA has only ever had one enquiry.
She has now been with us since the beginning of August and she is getting to the stage sadly where she is not happy and is losing weight.
TINA is 5 years old - German Shepherd, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped.
Tina is a really lovely girl but she will need to be the only pet in the home as she is dog reactive (especially in a kennel environment). We do not know if she can live with cats either as these are untested. Very strong girl so will need a confident handler used to the strength of the breed. She is a super friendly dog with humans and she does know and understand some commands. Completely house trained, travels well.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
Any children in the home must be 6+ and confident around large breeds.

We really do not understand why this handsome dude is not getting any interest.
ZACK is probably one of our more playful dogs, he absolutely loves a toy and will happily amuse himself for ages.
For some reason black dogs (and cats) don't seem to find homes as quick as other colours but if you are a fan of sighthounds Zack is definitely worth coming to meet.
He is a medium sized Lurcher - 3 1/2 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
He is a very nice boy who has been absolutely no bother at all since he arrived. He is excellent in his kennel, doesn't take any notice of most of the other dogs (not a fan of Shepherds it would seem), walks nicely and travels well.
He really needs to be the only pet in the home or he could possibly live with a submissive spayed sighthound bitch for zoomies and companionship. Cats and other small furries are extremely doubtful but untested.
Any children in the home need to be 5+
A secure garden with 6ft fencing is a must.
We would ideally like to see Zack go to a home where he is not going to be left for more than a few hours per day.

We called this little one SHAWTY. We believe she is a French Bulldog crossed with a Pocket Bully - maybe wrong but that's what were going with and no debate needed as that does not help her find a home - she is what she is, gorgeous pocket sized little Gremlin lookalike.
She has now been spayed, vaccinated and is chipped. Flea and worming up to date also. 3-4 years old.
Super super friendly with humans, gives you loads of kisses and likes to wash your face however she is hit and miss with other dogs especially larger dogs so sadly we will be trying to place her as the only pet in the home for now.
Shawty will be fine with any dog savvy children 5+ as she can play boisterously when over-excited.
Would say house trained but may need a bit of a refresher after her stint in kennels.
Walks quite nicely on the lead and travels well.
We would prefer to find a home where she is not left for more than a few hours per day.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.

APOLOGIES to anyone who has been trying to contact the kennels via telephone and thinks we can't be bothered to answer the phone - our line apparently has a fault and is awaiting on BT to repair.
If you are waiting for a reply to an email check your spam box as it could well be in there.

** HOME PENDING **

LUNA - Pug x Chow (Spaniel size), spayed, vaccinations re-started, microchipped - 7 years old.
Luna would suit a single retired person (or couple) down to the ground as she will make someone an excellent companion. She does prefer females but soon warms to males.
Totally house trained. Knows what she wants and doesn't want. Walks lovely on the lead. Likes a fuss and cuddle when it suits her and she knows what she wants to eat and will refuse what she doesn't like.
Luna has not really been any bother with other dogs but we think she may be better suited to just being her and her person, a sofa and a tv.
Cats unknown and untested.
Any children in the home need to be 5+
