He's not small, he's not fluffy and some might say he is not cute plus he is 14 years old (fit as a fiddle) so that means zero interest and still in kennels - so bloody sad as Boycie is such a good boy.

HUTTON Country Park, Wash Road, Brentwood - found at lunchtime today. Very elderly, freezing cold, riddled in fleas, bred the life out of - now warm and comfortable.
It would have been kinder to tie up on a vets doorstep rather than leave to freeze tied up to a tree in a Park - absolute w--kers.

NIBS - Terrier - 16 months, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Definitely a character and is going to be the life and soul of home keeping the family on their toes for a while. He is a proper poppet and very loving just has bags of energy as younger terriers do. He is going to make someone a really lovely companion once all his training has been put in place.
Nibs is going to need a generous amount of exercise per day so someone must be fit and able to undertake his needs.
Would say not suitable for a flat as he can be vocal if left for long periods of time but he does calm down.
Fairly clean in his kennel so may need a bit of a house training refresher. Needs to be able to see you when travelling.
Walks well on the lead but can be on a bit of a mission at times.
Any children in the home need to be 5+ and can only be homed by himself or with a submissive calm spayed bitch no male dogs. Cats unknown and untested and other small furries very doubtful.
Ideally we are seeking a home where he is not going to be left for more than a few hours per day and a secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.

Have no idea at all why this one has not been claimed but if it is your dog you need to contact CHELMSFORD CITY COUNCIL to be reunited. FOUND in Galleywood Common, Chelmsford on 7th November.

This is BOYCIE. Other than being extremely under weight there is not a thing medically wrong with him which is absolutely amazing for a 14 year old. His teeth are not in awful condition and all of his blood tests came back without a hint of anything.
He is neutered and microchipped and extremely friendly.
He has shown no signs of being bothered by other dogs just taking everything literally in his stride but as always careful introductions will be required. Cats and other small furries are unknown.
Boycie does get a bit anxious travelling but who wouldn't if you have been potentially dumped and discarded - he is an unclaimed stray.
Totally clean in his kennel so is house trained.
Boycie, as you can see in the photos still likes to play and is happy to amuse himself. He loves his walks.
Super friendly boy that is just seeking his retirement home by a warm cosy fireplace - can you help him achieve this?
Any children in the home need to 5+
We are ideally seeking a home for him with someone who is not out of the home for more than a couple of hours per day.

CINNAMON - Spaniel, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and is 8 years old but you seriously would think more like 4 years old as he loves to play and is constantly on the go. I personally think he is a cracking dog and is going to give someone who is looking for a slightly older dog a lot of pleasure.
He is house trained and does understand and know various commands.
Cinnamon has been fine with and around other dogs and can go to a home with children 5+. Cats and other small furries are unknown and untested.
Ideally we are seeking a home where he is not going to be left for more than a few hours per day and a secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.

She is a very nice girl that understands and knows several commands. House trained, walks nice and travels well. She is going to make a lovely addition to a family home.

Anyone fancy a Saturday morning job in Stondon Massey?
Hours are 8.15am to 1pm. Must either be experienced with or very confident around dogs of all sizes and have a willingness to work as part of a team and able to use own initiative when required. Duties required are letting dogs in and out of night kennels, cleaning kennels, washing down dog runs, poo picking, cuddles and brushing as required. Occasional bathing and medication administration. You will get dirty, it's that time of year. If you are good at taking photos that is a bonus but main criteria is being able to handle the dogs and willingness to muck in.

ARON - Long legged Staffie - 18 months old max, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped
He is a very happy young lad who is full of character and very loving and affectionate, super people friendly, very bouncy.
Aron MUST be the only dog in the home as he is reactive to other dogs due to lack of socialisation as a youngster but he is getting better with other dogs out and about on his walks ignoring most and he is able to walk in front or behind others without issue. Not cat friendly. Any children in the home need to be 6+
He ideally is going to need a home where he is not left for long periods of time and one where he will get the exercise and on going training he requires although he does already know some commands and really wants to please.
He is also house trained.
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.

LUCKY - female Staffordshire- 2 1/2 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Very people friendly and partial to lots of hugs and cuddles and gives sloppy kisses in return. Clean in kennels, travels well and walks nicely. Not sure if she will be cat friendly and she does need to be the ONLY dog in the home but can go out on lead walks with some other dogs without issue. Any children in the home need to be 5+
A secure garden with adequate height fencing is a must.
We would ideally like to see Lucky go to a home where she is not going to be left for more than a couple of hours per day.

Introducing SPIDER who will be looking for his forever home later on this week after he has been to the vets for neutering etc. He is around a year old and is a large crossbreed. Very friendly boy with humans. Strong. Needs an experienced person used to large breeds to continue his training. 💜✯REHOMED✯💜 CRUMPET - medium sized Staffordshire Bull Terrier, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is around approx 17 months old. At the kennels she has been very hit and miss with other dogs especially when the kennels are full and it is extremely noisy but out on walks she has come across very friendly. She is a bit of puller and fairly strong so she would need an owner used to this type of dog. We have no background history for Crumpet as she was an unclaimed stray but her temperament with humans has been really good. She does listen and does know some commands but ongoing training is going to be required. A pet free household is needed initially and any children in the home need to be 6+. He has been with us since May and has not had one single visitor. which is such a shame as he is a very nice lad. He has been clean in his kennels so would say house trained. He will need to be the only dog in the home as he can sometimes be reactive to dogs especially those that have a go at him. Doesn't take any notice out and about. Jet is playful, very human friendly and affectionate. Travels well and walks nicely on the lead. He will not be homed with any children under 6 years old. Cats unknown and untested.
