ALICE - small Terrier, spayed, vaccinations started, microchipped, flea'd and wormed. 3 years old.
Very sweet little girl who needs a home that can give her the time and patience she needs. We don't think she has had the best of starts in life.
A house training refresher will be on the cards for sure. Walks nice on the lead and travels well.
She is people friendly and does not appear to have issues with or around other dogs but as always sensible introductions are required to start with. Cats and small furries are unknown and untested.
Children 5+
We would ideally like to see Alice go to a home where she is not going to be left all day.

ROSIE - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 6 years old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea'd and wormed.
I have got absolutely nothing to say other than she is a proper little darling and someone is going to be extremely lucky to have her in their home.
Currently on ear drops for an infection but ears have been thoroughly flushed out and cleaned whilst being spayed.
Children 5+
We would ideally like to see Rosie go to a home where she is not going to be left all day.

Sally - Terrier, just under 5 years old, spayed, vaccinations started, microchipped, flead and wormed.
She comes across as a nervous little girl but is rather sweet once she feels secure.
Sally will need a quieter home and one willing to give her the time to settle in.
House training refresher may be needed.
Children 6+
Not sure about cats and small furries but she has not really shown any problems around other dogs.
We would like to find Sally a home where she will not be left for more than a few hours.
A secure garden with adequate height fences is a must.

It is that time of year when everyone seems to be wanting something and unfortunately we are in need too. However thanks to your very kind generosity in the past it does keep us going for most of the year without having to appeal further so that is a good thing.
All donations for the Christmas box appeal can arrive in a box, a carrier bag, a pillow case - any way you like but they do need to arrive before Christmas Eve please.
If you do not wish to do a box there is also our Amazon wish list - both are just to give an idea of items you could pick up whilst doing your weekly shopping.

I really do hate the "c" word but it is only around 6 weeks to Christmas so I thought I better get a move on with the Amazon wish list.
This is purely for ideas as some items can be purchased at other outlets for a cheaper price. We do use and regularly buy in what is on this list so any help would be much appreciated.

Over the next week to 10 days there will be lots of dogs coming up - veterinary work needs to be done first so keep on popping in to check whether your next furry friend could be here.
If a dog has been posted that you think could suit, you need to send in an application form in the first instance and we will go from there. We do not respond to random comments of wanting the dog on FB.

UPDATED

We have named this Terrier x pos Whippet JOHNNY. He is under 2 years old we believe. Johnny has been neutered, vaccinations started and microchipped.
He is very sweet but also slightly nervous hence the deer in headlights look. Once he has got to know you he just wants fuss and cuddles - there has been no malice shown.
He may need a bit of a house training refresher. Has been fine around other dogs but cats and small furries are unknown. He travels well if he can see you.
Once he settles in you will see a scatty playful boy but he is going to need some TLC and reassurance that the big wide world is not totally scary.
Any children will need to be 5+
We would like to see Johnny go to a home where he is not going to be left all day as he needs people.

We have named this lad OOGIE. He will be homed with a neutering agreement as he is around 10 months old. We have started his vaccinations and have had him microchipped.
Very clever lad.
This post will be edited tomorrow with further details.

Ok this is HERMIONE, she is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier of medium size, longer legs, may have some Labrador in her. In the flesh she looks very Staffie. If any of our dog walkers have any better photos please feel free to post below in the comments. Thank you.
Hermione was spayed via keyhole procedure recently as our vets can now offer that option, she is fully vaccinated and has been microchipped. We believe she is around 2 years old.
She definitely prefers females and needs some time to warm to men but once she has bonded with you, you could not wish for a more loving and faithful friend. I am not going to lie she was hard work in the beginning as she did not trust anyone but now she snuggles up to everyone here.
Good girl in her kennel. Travels well. Not cat friendly.
Any children in the home need to dog savvy and would prefer 7+ or older.
A fairly quieter home and one that has the time to give her and experience with dogs would be a better suit for her.
