Hey Everybun! Sit down, get a cuppa – it’s a long one.

It’s that time of year again when I give you a bit of a ‘roundup’ and wish you all a very ‘Hoppy’ Christmas!

I’ve taken a more ‘behind the scenes’ roll again this year – old customers may have noticed – new customers are wondering who the heck I even am! But my children have needed my attention recently, so much of the bunny/piggy care and customer greeting has been in the loving hands of our bunny whisperer and general superstar that some call Albina, Alvin, Aldina, Albania and Almina – but who we call… Alvina 🤣 Honestly, I never thought I’d find someone who cares for the hotel guests as well as I do – how wrong I was! Three years in, and I still can’t stop saying how grateful I am to her 😍 Anyhow, as well as a Christmas post and a big public THANK YOU to Alvina AND Laura, I would also like to share something un-bunny related if I may…

As I mentioned, I have devoted much of my time recently to my children who are home-educated and wonderfully neurodivergent. Some ‘old’ customers will know our history and the struggles we’ve had. Well, my daughter is now 14. She’s spent 7 years recovering from selective mutism, social anxiety and the difficult start she had in the school system. AMAZINGLY she has now decided it’s time to get her voice heard! She started to write a blog and shared it publicly this week. Despite this not being related to bunnies/piggies, I know it will resonate with some of you. I’d like to invite you to read her blog and subscribe if her writing resonates with you or a young people in your life, in some way.

I also promise… I will post more in twenty-four! (and over Christmas too) While I can’t take holiday pics of everybun, I know how seeing flopped out buns and munching pigs on their holibobs is such a pleasure! 🐰🐹🐰🐹 We have a bunny birthday here on the 23rd, so I’ll start there.

I have some sad news to share. A few days ago, our beautiful turkey Ivy sadly passed away. No apparent illness, I think it was just her time. She had the most beautiful nature and we feel so grateful to have shared the last six years with her. She sparked love and compassion in so many people, with her turkey hugs and love of falling asleep in human arms. She's been my daughter's loyal friend. She will be so sorely missed. Rest in peace beautiful Ivy, we love you ###

Dear Friends... May I take this opportunity to say a huge MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and every bun!! The whole Woodcroft Warrens family wish you a season filled with love, popcorns and binkies. Every bunny here will be enjoying a cosy Christmas with lots of love and attention as always. I would also like to thank you for your support this year. Not only to all you wonderful customers, but to Alvina! Alvina joining the Woodcroft Warrens family has been a life-changing and magical time for our whole family, and we are eternally grateful 🙏 It's been a year quite different to any year previous, yet I can honestly say, the standard of care and time devoted to your little ones has only increased (and it was blooming excellent before might I add!). Special thanks to all who sent Christmas cards to us, and especially to Ava (and her hoomans Richard Menzies & Lucy Bolton) for the lovely Christmas card you see here. I couldn't help but share it with you all. Look at Binky Bungalows!! 😮 The renovation has begun. Due to demand we are converting Binky Bungalows into indoor, heated accommodation, similar to Lavender Lodge and Parsley Place 💚

We make our own bunny/piggy toys as much as poss. But just a reminder - we sell Large Rosewood Carrot Cottages (£11) and Hay Cubes (£7). We’ve priced them super-low, no profit made, just a hope that your little ones get plenty to do while they’re here. You can buy on arrival and pay on collection, or even send us a message while you’re away 😊

The upcoming temperatures are an obvious concern. However we are very lucky that our cabins are under trees (How grateful we are for trees 🌳🙏🙌🌳) Nevertheless we’ve bought extra fans and added extra shade to the area. Our floors are also nice and cold, ideal for flopping out on. Rest assured the bunnies will be continually monitored all day, water bowls refreshed, ears cooled and a fine water mist sprayed to keep everyone comfortable 🐰

A hotel of happiness right here ☺️ Our guests are either munching, flopping out on the cold floor or hopping around my feet while I try to take a photo - but whatever they’re doing, they’re happy and content and having a lovely holiday. Everybun’s eating and enjoying extra fresh water re-fills throughout the day - it’s another hot one! ☀️

Evening all, There's been a bit of confusion lately about how to switch from the old double vaccines, to the new Nobivac PLUS (3 in 1) vaccine. I've been confused, vets seem confused and maybe you're confused too! So, I'm attaching a poster from Vetpol.co.uk which clearly explains how to make the switch. Please feel free to show this to your vet. It's also displayed on the vaccine page of my website. I hope this helps 🐰Thank you 🐰
