He came into the Wylie Wellness Centre Brentwood yesterday for his annual vaccine ✅

Hints:
🐾 His breed is known for being an ancient sheep herding dog who would jump on the back of sheep to change their direction
🐾 His breed is also known for their coats which can take four to five years to develop

Hamish is only 18 months old so he is still a young dog and such a bundle of fun 🥰 He is also going to Crufts next month so we wish him and his owners the best of luck 🍀

Meet baby Angus and Mabel 🩵🩷

Angus is already 13.5kg at 12 weeks old! He came in for his 2nd vaccine today .... Mabel was there for her yearly health check and vaccine too 🥰

They both joined our Prevention Plan today .... It's a monthly payment plan that saves you money and spreads the cost of preventative treatment over the year 💚 Plus you save 10% off neutering, dental products and treatment, plus raw food purchased from us 🧡

Had they not joined the plan, today's bill would have been 7.5 times more expensive 💜

Meet Tabitha 💜

She was in on Saturday to see our amazing vet Ashley 🩷

She was so relaxed in the consult, she even let Ashley stroke her belly 🥰 Such a lovely natured cat 😻

Cats generally don't like to be taken out of their home environment and are not as easily bribed as dogs 🤣..

That's why we have Feline Friday, a Cat Only Clinic every Friday in the Wylie Wellness Centre Brentwood from 9am to 12.30pm 🧡 It's a much calmer environment for your cat and we spray Feliway (a pheromone based scent) on blankets to cover their carriers and in consult rooms to help calm them too 😻

Two beautiful little girls who came in to see us this week ...They were soooooo cute and both very brave 🥰

Meet the distinguished gentleman Simba 🩵

Simba is a deaf, 12 year old German Shepherd Dog, who is being fostered by one of our amazing clients 🥰 Simba came to our clients through the charity called Oldies Club 💞

It was his first visit to us today and he was a little unsure to start .....However once he'd had a good sniff around our scent led waiting room, seen our amazing vet Ashley for his vaccination and we'd given him lots of fuss and treats in reception, he was more relaxed on his way out 😍

Meet Reilly 🩵

Reilly is a beautiful baby Irish Setter who came in last week to see Nic one of our amazing nurses 🩷

Reilly had his second vaccination and spoke about transitioning his diet from kibble to raw ... What a lucky boy!!! 😋😋

Can you guess the age of the very distinguished gentleman Sooty? Sooty came to our Cat only clinic last Friday, just for a free nurse check as part of his plan. Chloe was amazed at how well he looked for his age, he was such a sweet cat ..... 😻

Meet beautiful Willow and Lana 🩷

Lana is Willlow's mum and they are both therapy dogs💜

To be a therapy dog you have to be assessed and of a really calm nature .... They visited Wylies for their annual health check and vaccinations 😍

They were both happy to say hello to everyone, dogs and humans ❤️

Every dog is different and it's really helpful to communicate your dogs personality to other owners, to help that we sell these great lead covers 🧡

Meet our first 2 visitors today....

🩵 11 year old Buddy Boy
🩷 10 year old Betty

They were in for their annual health check and vaccination with our amazing vet Ashley ..... but did you know ....... Buddy has had 2 cruciate ligament repairs (the cruciate ligament stabilizes the knee joint and controls the movement of the lower leg) and Molly has a pace maker fitted 😱

You never would know 👏

They were both so well behaved and loved our treats 😍

Buddy was also treated to a cute Bowtie 🎀

2 little pups that came in before Xmas for their health check and 2nd Vaccine 💜

They were both so well behaved and loved the treats and fuss our reception team gave them 😍

The fun for their families will have really started now as they will be fully vaccinated against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis meaning they can safely to go outside 🩷

I bet they're a lot bigger too and their families are now starting to see their personalities 🥰

Pop into the Wylie Wellness Centre Brentwood soon... we'd love to see you and it's also great to desensitise them from a Vet environment 👏

Pet Blood Bank is a UK charity and exists to help save the lives of pets in need 🩷

The charity was set up to support vets by providing a blood service for pets, just like the one we have as humans 💜

The Wylie Veterinary Centre in Upminster, our 24-hour hospital is a blood collection centre where owners bring their much loved companions to give blood ❤️

Our last session was in January and we collected enough blood to save 32 lives 😍

Our next date is the 16TH MARCH and here's a link to register 🙏

Not every dog is able to give blood so there's a short questionnaire to fill in to make sure it is safe to do so 🤞🤞🫶🫶

Meet Stanley a very handsome Newfoundland puppy🩵

He came in today for his 2nd Vaccination given by our lovely nurse Nic 🥰

He's from a litter of 19 😱 yes 19 💜

Did you know the Newfoundlands are great swimmers as they have webbed feet, they do require a lot of brushing but are amazing loyal family pets.

If you are thinking of getting one then be mindful that an adult male dog often weighs between 130 and 150 pounds thats 59 to 69kgs 🥰

Stanley was such a good boy, so chilled and well behaved....Thanks for visiting Stanley, we can't wait to see you grow 🐾 🫶
