Our Story
Pawtopia Doggy Day Care & Dog Hotel is designed for those that leave a hectic life and want to ensure that their dog/s get the best care and attention for when they are not around, which is why we provide a whole host of services to help you out. Run as a family business from our house, we have a whole host of fantastic facilities from a secure 1.5acre garden for the dogs to play in to an all weather outside area fitted with heated/lighted kennels and summer house. Dog Walking: Our aim is to give your dog their daily dose of exercise, so at the end of the day you can relax and enjoy your dog, without feeling guilty at having to leave them throughout the working day. Dog Day Care: We’ve created an environment where your dog can build positive behaviour through the right amount of exercise and social interaction, with business hours that cater to your lifestyle. With around an 1.5 acres of land that is secure and private your dog can enjoy being a dog. If your dog wants to just lounge around and chill then our heated doggy summer house full of dog beds is the perfect spot for them to enjoy their day. Puppy Visit: Puppies need a lot of sleep so 20 minute visits won’t over tire them (which can cause behavioural problems) and having a second, or third visit means your pup won’t be left alone for long periods. We always like to keep our visits to an individual basis,as we think puppies are special and deserve our full attention whilst they are developing in this stage of their life. We will help in teaching your puppy all the things needed to grow and develop in their early stages of development. Prior to vaccination, we play educational games and start their training around the house or garden but ensure they don’t go upstairs as due to their bones growing they should not go upstairs. They are fed and watered, and any little messes cleared up and we work on their house training. Once vaccinated we take short walks, play more games, continue their training and generally have enough fun so your puppy is happy to settle back to sleep between visits. Home Boarding: Home boarding is when your dogs lives in our house as part of the family. Staying in our home with his own bed, food, toys and enjoys all the comforts of home away. There are no kennels and no cages involved. The stay will always be personal and 2:1 providing all the loving care, attention and exercise your dog requires according to your instructions.
