Intact male dog seen out for a walk on his own/stray today.... last seen at Cargill Hall, Bridge of Weir. We were unable to catch!

In light of the recent news about a CMA investigation into pricing and transparency in the veterinary industry, I would like to reassure our clients and others.

Kerr Vet Group is 100% independent, and owned entirely by myself, the vet that you see with your animals day to day. I have been born and bred locally in Kilbarchan, and worked here at the practice for going on 15 years! Because of this, we have no shareholders or investors to answer to, and can concentrate on providing quality care for the animals we look after and community that we serve.

We always strive to be affordable, caring, and above all fair in the prices that we charge. Some of the common fees are listed on our website, however we are also perfectly happy to provide quotes and discuss treatment options as appropriate. Prices do unfortunately go up over time, however I work very hard to keep these increases to a minimum and still provide the best service possible. I believe that we compare very favourably in this with any other vet in the surrounding area.

I am extremely proud of the practice and the team here at Kerrs. We are one of the last truely independent practices remaining in the area, and will continue to fly the flag for caring veterinary care based firmly in the local community.
