Not sure when we decided Snoop Dogg was the official US Mascot, but I am loving it! 🎶
Oh and we bumped into our dog walking besties - 8 awesome doggos all playing nicely we couldn’t believe our luck!

We’ve made it through the heatwave guys 🙌🏼

As with every year a huge Thankyou to my lovely clients for your understanding of the super early walks, check ins, rearranged walks and most importantly your continued support. Means the world to me you choose me to be your doggo’s second family 🫶🏻

Today was a welcome relief 😅

BREAKFAST CLUB 🥱 🥵

As with every year we manage to beat the heat and get a full pack walk before the temperature’s become too uncomfortable and dangerous 🥴.
Remember these tips -

🐾 Taking dog’s to the sea or the river can be a great way to help them stay cool and have fun during summer.

🐾 If travelling use air con.

🐾 Walk during cooler times ie early in the morning/late evening. This avoids heat stroke and burnt paws.

🐾 Stay hydrated always carry water for your dog and offer it regularly.

🐾 Choose shaded routes.

🐾 Watch for signs for overheating. Symptoms like excessive panting, drooling, lethargy or uncoordinated movements.

I would love to say sorry it’s warm next week so I’m off for the week 🤩🥳💃🏻

Easier said than done.

Irritates me with posts like dogs before dough.
It’s definitely not about the money, I mean who would be in this job if it was.

Every walker has dogs who need us.
It’s not as hot some places as others.
One morning walk a day where possible.
Shorter walks if needed.

I have a few dogs who only get their walks with me.
If this means early walks, evening walks, walks where they stay in the water the whole time then so be it.

That worry of what others will think, what will others say, nah.
We are all not stupid.

No dog is dragged around the hot pavements.
We have a few walk places with practically all shade and a river running right through. Or places with big reservoir’s 💦

But we will cancel if we need to.

Alarm set early for tomorrow ⏰
