About me....
My name is Nicola Smith, I am 39 and live in Brynmenyn with my husband Julian and our two cats, Sydney a black smoked Maine C**n and Lola a tabby. After taking redundancy from work in 2018 from my 9-5 office job, it sealed my decision to follow my dreams of working in the world of pet services. I am a true animal lover and have been putting my passion into action since October 2018 when Snap Happy Pet Care begun.
Growing up with my parents and two sisters I have always been surrounding by animals at home with dogs, Ben, Tess and Dora. Many cats with memorable names....Minstrels, Sammy, Winston, Tigger, Candy, Buster, Sooty, Tommy, Jenson, Bruce and many more. A rabbit, hamster and a budgie called Bobby.
I have had several years experience for friends and family pet caring and dog walking before I started Snap Happy Pet Care. I am a very active person who loves the outdoors, health and fitness.
Throughout 2018 when awaiting a redundancy date I sat several courses online - Diploma in Dog Walking, Diploma in Pet Home Sitting Professional and Animal First Aid and CPR. I then completed my Dog First Aid Emergency Canine Care in November 2018 and the IMDT two day course as a Dog Trainer in November 2019. I also volunteered in The Cats Protection Centre from October 2018 - February 2019 caring for the cats.
