🎉Celebrating 10 years in Business January 2025 🎉

Well I can't get over it's been 10 years since I set up my business back in 2015 when I was 22 years old. Wow where has the time gone!!

I started the business after finishing 3 years of studying in Pencoed college in Animal Care/Management. I had always been passionate about animals but always wanted to work with lots of different animals. So started dog walking first and pet visits, then expanded to building the Dog Boarding kennels, Daycare and Dog Grooming. My amazing dad Tony loved every minute of it and loved all the dogs and made such a fuss and they always knew he was the softy one and I was the strict one 😂.

2022 was the year i had my wonderful boy leo🍼👶 and had to reduce the Services that I had provided to be there for my boy leo as a single mum and raising him on my own with my family besides me. The support from everyone was truely amazing i cant thank everyone enough and how it made me feel ❤️
Then of course got back into it and only doing the Boarding, daycare and visits.

Then 2024 we had to do a huge renovation to the kennels which my dad loved doing and got soo involved with. I limited the Services again as Me, John and Leo became a family of four when little Jacob arrived in October 🍼👶. Finding our way through with kids and business not going to lie it's hard work but we love the dogs and seeing all our regulars and ones we have got to know so well over the years ☺️

Sadly we had a great loss my wonderful dad passed away end of 2024 was such a shock and he was a huge part of this business and the love he had for every one of the dogs and everyone we got to know. Everyone been heartbroken and the dogs are all missing him, he would of loved to have been here to celebrate 10 years and he was soo proud 👏❤️ I want to say a massive thank you too all who attended, got intouch, sent cards or phoned it mean alot to us and how much he meant to everyone ❤️

What a 10 years it has been and how much it has changed me as a person, Heres to 2025 and to alot more years in honor of my dad to keep going strong and to say a massive thank you to all who have supported us for all these years and to the future ❤️ we wouldn't have got here without you all 👏

Rest of the days up until 31st be open select hours

Verity's Pet Services

Small family run Boarding Kennels at our home, nearly 10 years running come January 2025. We welcome all breeds, neutered and unneutered dogs, good with other dogs to not good with other dogs. This place is great for dogs who need one on one, nervous dogs, ones who get stressed out being in a larger kennel facility. As we have only 4 kennels dogs are more relaxed and happy and defiantely calmer. Dogs who are more socialable and want to play with others can do with other socialable boarders and Day Boarders.

The kennels is an extention on the main house, been fully revamped this year 2024 to abide by new licensing regulations. 4 large Kennels with large undercover run on each one, heaters inside with its own washing facility at the end of Kennels.

We have a paddock up the top for them to exercise and can go on the sofas up there to chill, lovely walks on the common behind us.

All Dogs must be Fully up to date with Vaccinations including Kennel Cough, Flea Treatment & Worming

Still doesn't seem real and have to update you all on here in whats happened 😢💔

We are all heartbroken that my wonderful amazing dad has passed away 💔😭, he went into hospital hard of breathing on the Tuesday evening and we thought he be back out but that wasn't the case. We were unaware how fast the cancer had progressed and he was moved into Ybwthyn on the Wednesday and passed away peacefully 7am Thursday morning 💔💔

You all know my dad so well when you came here to us with your pooches for the nearly 10 years that we have been running it for. I know alot of you are wanting to come to the funeral to pay your respects of a wonderful man that he was ❤️

The funeral will be held

Friday 3rd Janaury 2025
10.30am at Coychurch Crematorium
The Wake will be held at Hunters Lodge, Brackla
Donations will be going to Prostate Cancer UK
