So this week we’ve said farewell to one of our OG dog walking clients of over 3.5 years, the lovely Nala 🧡

Her pawrents’ are moving out the area, so Nala is off for new adventures! We will miss her so much, she’s been a fab member of the walking club & all the dogs will miss seeing her 😔🧡

Today is National Day! 💛

At The Bridgnorth Dog Club, we believe every anxious dog deserves to feel safe, understood, and respected. That’s why we’re supporting today!

But this day isn’t just about our dogs – it’s also about their incredible owners. We see the patience, love, and effort you put into keeping your dogs safe, and today is a celebration of both you and them.

Let’s help spread awareness (quietly, of course – our anxious dogs prefer it that way). By educating others and sharing the message, we can make sure more people understand what wearing yellow really means.

How you can take part:
💛 Wear yellow
💛 Share a photo of your dog in yellow using
💛 Tell someone why yellow is important for anxious dogs
💛 Tag a friend and invite them to join in

Together, we can help create a world where every dog in yellow gets the space and respect they deserve.

WOW! A fab but chilly morning training today. This is our adolescent group programme that launched in February this year. We’re currently on week 6 of the programme & today’s session was focusing on loose lead & calling away from distractions 🗣️✅ — IF you have trained with us before whether that’s puppy training/ 121 training or summer classes & would like some more info on our adolescent programme please do get in touch!

We are super proud of Clare & Ruby one of our puppy class graduates, going on to attend Crufts 2025 & be a part of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Puppy Display 🤩👏🏼

What a fantastic experience for little Ruby, I’ve been told by Clare that she took it all in her stride & really had a lovely time!

What a fantastic start to our Puppy Life Skills course last night! 🤩🐶

Week 1 is a little different this year—no puppies just yet! It might seem unexpected, but this approach allows me to give owners so much more support without the challenge of keeping a puppy calm in a new environment. And the difference it makes is incredible! 🙌🏼✨

We covered:

✅ Toilet training 🚽
✅ Enrichment ideas 🧸
✅ High-value treats 🦴
✅ Rewarding effectively in training 🎾
✅ Live demos of key behaviours 🐕‍🦺

Seeing everyone eagerly jotting down notes was amazing ✍🏼📖. Now, with all this knowledge under our belts, we’re ready to dive into training next Monday with confidence! 👏🏼🐕

An amazing end to what’s been a fantastic first puppy course of 2025, our NEW & improved course that includes the final week 7 training in the town! 🌃

We were practicing focus around distractions & loose lead training 🐶🐾 - the puppies did amazing! We saw everything from police cars, motorbikes, buses & even a car crash just as we finished 🙈🤣

Safe to say they’ve been well socialised!! Super proud of every single one of them 👏🏼
