I can work with you to teach your dog better behaviours. Dogs are all individuals with their own personalities and sometimes behavioural problems do arise. Often trying to deal with our dog’s problems alone can seem daunting and complex. I can guide and work with you and your dog to improve its behaviour. My aim is to work with you to change your dog’s behaviour for the better using kind, evidence based positive reward-based approaches. I am a trained professional Dog Trainer and Behaviourist with experience of living and working with dogs of all sizes and age! I am a fully qualified and assessed member (achieved distinction) of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT). I achieved a distinction in the Working in Canine Behaviour Career Pathway Courses (QLS Level 4) with the Animal Care College. I have completed the Career as a Dog Trainer, Practical Instructors Course, The Exercises: Foundation to Advanced Course, Canine First Aid, Perfect Puppy, Canine Body Language and Canine Aggression & Rehabilitation Courses with IMDT. I am fully insured to work with you and your dog. I work across Shropshire and the West Midlands. I will work with you and your dog on a one-to-one basis. Usually this will be at your home or where the dog's behaviour presents

When you get in touch:
• we can have an initial no obligation chat to discuss your dog’s problems.
• You can then decide if you want to take things further. The initial consultation includes:
• a non-judgemental assessment of your dog’s behaviour
• observing your dog's problem first hand.
• providing practical solutions to the problems which are
• concerning you.
• working with you and your dog to improve its behaviour.
• an agreed action plan. You are not on your own. Ongoing support and follow up is available.

😍 Cuteness Alert! 🥰 🐾 🐶
It was lovely to meet these little cuties last night at their first Puppy /Beginners Life Skills Class. They all did brilliantly in a new environment. I'm looking forward to seeing them develop their foundation skills, confidence and above all having fun.

🐾 🥰 A few of gorgeous puppies attending Tuesday and Wednesday’s puppy classes. The dogs have been awesome this week doing recalls, learning to settle on their mat, loose lead walk as well as politely meet and greet their new pals. One class even got to hone their acting skills whilst having fun playing with their dogs! 😉

🐾 Top tips to encourage loose lead walking: ✅ If your dog pulls on the lead, stop for a few seconds. When the lead is slack start walking a few steps rewarding your dog for not pulling. ✅ Keep training sessions short. ✅ Encourage and engage with your dog. ✅ Always reward wanted behaviours. ✅ Don't expect too much from your dog. ✅ Be patient and consistent. ✅ Practice, practice, practice. ✅ Take your time on walks and allow your dog to stop, sniff and explore. ✅ Be realistic, heeling is different to lose lead walking - don’t expect your dog to heel by your side all the time but when you really need them too. Dogs need to be able to walk nicely on the lead and still enjoy their walk without pulling you over! ❌ Don't punish your dog. ❌ Avoid letting your dog pull to get to where he wants to. ❌ Don't keep yanking your dog on the lead to correct them. Some dogs might prefer and be better with a properly fitted no pull harness.
