And that’s a wrap 🎉🎉 2024 saw me celebrate 10 wonderful years of Blue Fern Dog Walking.. and some pups have been with me right from the very beginning.. we’re growing old together 😅
As each year passes I can’t believe how lucky I’ve been, I have the most amazing dogs to walk and they have the most amazing owners.
2025 will be a huge year for me and I’d like to thank everyone for their kind words and support as I take an extra long Christmas break whilst I await the arrival of my first grandchild 💖💖
Blue and I hope you all have a magical Christmas and a wonderful new year.. I may be missing the start of it but I’ll be back in February and ready for the next 10yrs of walks!

From my home, there’s a few miles of country lanes to drive on before I reach the main road, so I’ve had to make the decision not to head out this morning.
Very much hoping normal service will be resumed tomorrow!

Hello weekend 👋 Well.. Autumn has definitely arrived and I’m actually quite enjoying the arrival of shorter & cooler days, I don’t even mind the rain (just maybe a little less than we’ve seen in recent days 😅)

I’d like to introduce Betty to you 😍😍 I’ve actually been walking her for a good few months but she’s a shy girl and isn’t a fan of having her picture taken.
Betty spent the first 5yrs of her life in kennels in Cyprus so is still learning all about the big wide world.. but since she’s found her new home with her wonderful owner here in Bridgnorth, she’s been making great progress 💖💖
We love you Betty.. keep up the good work 🤗

Now for something a little different…

As well as spending my days loving all things dog related, I’m also a qualified Sound Healing practitioner. This involves working with the beautiful vibrations of sound healing instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls and gongs, primarily with the purpose of promoting deep relaxation and stress relief.
In July I’ll be using these instruments to host a local Sound Bath with the added bonus of being joined by my daughter Fern, who will be bringing her expertise to guide you through some super gentle movements to aid the relaxation process further.

Rainbow Bridge

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.

For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over together.

And that’s a wrap for 2023 with the final walk of the year going to my buddy Fergus 🐾🐾 once again it’s time to reflect on how proud I am to have built a successful business that I genuinely love and how lucky I am to be able to walk wonderful dogs who have such lovely owners that make this job such a joy!
Thank you all.. have a wonderful Christmas and I’ll look forward to more walks in 2024!
