I’ve just sent out some holiday dates to my clients and it got me thinking - with holiday season approaching where do your dogs go when you’re on holiday?
If you are paying for a ‘professional’ service do they have a boarding license? If they don’t then any insurance they hold will be invalid. What happens if your dog needs veterinary care while you’re away and there is no insurance through the boarder. Will they pay out of their own pocket or will your dog potentially not receive the care they need? It sounds dramatic but it’s something to consider.
Home boarding is a licensed activity. And the T&Cs of that licence include to display the licence number all advertising including pages.
Family and friends operating on a non-commercial basis and pet sitting in the dog’s home do not require licensing.
