Excited to announce a new clinic at Coldblow Equestrian! 🐴🐴
I’ve ridden in this lovely arena and the surface is amazing to ride on.
Sessions are individual and £60 including arena hire.
I’m happy to ride for part or all of the session I just ask to see the horse ridden if I’ve never seen them before.

On the 25/01/2025 a teenage girl was out riding her horse (Loki) with her cousin in Loft House West Yorkshire, on Lingwell Nook Lane on the old pit stack.

While on the pit stack there was a male in his 50-60, bold head, glasses on and wearing a blue rain coat with black joggers on. He had a chocolate coloured spaniel dog with him that was off the leash and out of control, the young girls asked him to put the dog on the lead while they passed but the man told the young girls “ f**k off this is public land” as the dog was running out of control around the horses Loki spooked and started to buck, rear and kick. The teenage girl was thrown from Loki’s back just before he bolted to try and escape the dog. Loki ended up running out onto Leeds Road where he was hit by a car and suffered catastrophic injuries to his legs, his injuries were truly horrendous and all 4 legs were shattered. Loki fought to get up off the road but of course due to his four broken legs he couldn’t and sadly he had to be put to sleep in the road.
The gentleman that hit Loki is absolutely devastated and his car a total write off.
The incident happened just before 4:30pm .

If anyone has any information on who this dog walker is can you please PM the page or ring West Yorkshire police.

This post is also to make people aware of the disastrous consequences for not putting your dogs on leashes around horses.

We are fully supporting Loki’s family during this devastating time.

Don’t miss Sally’s next talk via zoom on the 18th of February

Last night we had a special guest speaker - Sally Toye!!

Her talk was titled "Mad or Marvellous?" She told us a story of her first ever Tevis Cup adventure! She went on to do another 9 starts with 5 completions! For those of you unfamiliar with Tevis is a 100mile race and you have 24hrs to finish over the harshest terrain in California!

We were all sat there jaw dropped, it was fascinating to hear. Sally has such a way with words we felt we were there! A truly inspirational story and gave a feeling of 'no risk, no reward' !
If you didn't come out of there feeling motivated and planning your next adventure, there was something wrong with you!
As one member said "its really reignited my fire"!!

Sally is doing a virtual talk via Zoom on the 18th of February. Sign up via clubhouse on the EGB website.

You might not be up for doing the Tevis but what about doing your first race ride or your first 160km. Or do that ride that you've always dreamt of doing but have been putting it off....!

Morning everyone and Happy new year , as some of you know we are on our annual holiday in Bali at the moment and then working in Dubai on the way home . Just a heads up that we are be taking appointments for the south east and a north run for early February so please feel free to send them through and I’ll contact you around the end of the month once we are back in Blighty and anyone else in Dubai please touch base before the 15th of January if you would like to see is as we will be fitting at the endurance village from the 20th. Amazing day in the foothills of the Volcano and then the hot springs, driving around the country in an orange VW with a private driver. Highly recommend this guy if you come to Bali, private car picked us up at the hotel at 8 am, drove us to the volcano and hot springs. Trip included a massage for both of us as well as entry to the springs , a lovely lunch included and he took us wherever we liked on the way back to the hotel , chocolate shop (🤦‍♀️) woodcarving and art gallery got back to the hotel about 6.30 in the evening . All for £131, £105 without the massages , amazing value. Thank you so much 🥰 Vacation tours Buana Vw.

Such a change from our usual saddle fitting and getting our strength back for a crazy busy year as usual 😊
