🐾The power of a microchip.🐾

This week we had a stray cat brought in to us by a lovely client who has been caring for this cat for sometime as it made itself at home on her farm.
As the lady gained more trust she was able to bring her to the practice, on examination a microchip was found.
Luckily the microchip details had been kept up to date and we were able to contact the shocked owner, who told us she had been missing for 3 and a half years and unfortunately had always feared the worse.

‘Shezaw’ somehow, has made her way from Hull all the way to Driffield.
She has been now been reunited with her owner and is settling back into home life. We love a happy ending.

As of 10th June 2024, it will be a legal requirement for owned cats to be microchipped before they reach the age of 20 weeks.
Please call your practice if you require an appointment for microchipping.
