A first visit to me, and an absolute star to sit through a 3 hour appointment for a haircut & teeth clean (a break was given!)

The photo’s that show before and after her teeth clean are too good to be true…
she had an extensive teeth clean, which allowed all plaque to be removed.

Stanley, AJ and Pip came back for their maintenance teeth cleans.
The difference isn’t so noticeable now because they come regularly for these sessions to prevent plaque build up and long term dental issues.

However, you can see at the gum line where the plaque starts to show on the teeth, just within 8 weeks…

Tiggy’s transformation!
This sweet, very well behaved girl did exceptionally well for her visit to me.
A 1:1 and calm approach made this possible.
A shave down was required to remove all matting for a fresh start for new hair growth.

Sending huge congratulations to Juno’s mum & dad on the celebration of their wedding day yesterday.
I had the pleasure looking after little Juno, and Molly, a family member’s dog, while they tied the knot and celebrated the day away.

A day full of zoomies, belly rubs, nap times and a walk around town and in the coffee shop.
Juno made a special appearance at her mum & dad’s evening do and of course, she stole everybody’s hearts and the show 🥺

Congratulations again to Ben & Rhiannon, wishing you both many years of happiness!

February is Pet dental month 🦷

Maintaining your dog’s oral health is JUST as important as grooming.
Imagine going 1 month, 2 years or 5 years without brushing your own teeth 😳
We wouldn’t do it, and nor should your dog.

This was Tilly’s 3rd visit to me.
Previously to this most recent maintenance appointment, Tilly came in for 2 hour appointments on separate occasions to remove heavy plaque, which was a huge success down to her remarkable table manners.
All is required now, is for Tilly to come in for 30 minute maintenance appointments to prevent the build up again.
Her teeth have and gums have dramatically improved since she’s been coming in regularly for those important cleaning sessions.
The ultrasonic teeth cleaning is preventable care, not curable care.

From start to finish, we have Molly, Rusty, Lupa, Milly & Bonnie.
Lupa’s teeth clean was her first hour session and the difference is astonishing.
Molly, Rusty, Milly & Bonnie all had their regular 6 weekly 30 minute maintenance cleans, to prevent plaque build up.

It is so important to keep up with teeth cleaning appointments. It only takes 4 hours for bacteria to build up on your dog’s teeth after eating.
You can see in the first set of the photos where the plaque is starting to form.
