🦏 Today is

When paying by card you may have seen our machines ask if you would like to make a 50p donation. This is because we, here at Medivet, are proud partners of and its Forever Wild Rhino campaign, who are on a mission to protect and sustain landscapes through its agile and innovative approach to conservation.

They have been working for over 50 years to create a safe stronghold for rhinos and other indigenous species.

We're so thankful to our clients for their generous donations to the Wilderness Foundation over the past 10 years. 🦏

❄️ As the winter weather is settling in it is really important that we all take extra steps to protect our pets from some of the dangers.

Washing your dog’s paws after every walk, keeping to sensible walks & protecting them from hypothermia & frostbite is essential.

Protect rabbits & small furries by moving them into sheltered areas, providing covers & additional bedding & checking daily that water sources are not frozen.

Cats are very susceptible to antifreeze poisoning which causes irreversible kidney failure when ingested from drinking contaminated puddles or grooming from affected paws. Sadly we see fatal cases every year so be mindful to keep antifreeze secure & wash away any spillage no matter how small. ❄️
